David came to replace a broken receiver unit for infra red heating panels, replace 5 switches, fix a faulty light switch and fix a socket back to the wall. He did all the work to a very high standard - he tested the heating to make sure the receiver and thermostat were properly paired - and with good cheer and tied up after himself. His price was highly competitive and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Rupert replied to my enquiry quickly, providing am affordable quote. David fitted three new light fittings in our porch and living room, with care and precision. He popped out to get suitable light bulbs as well, which was appreciated! Both Rupert and David were friendly, helpful and provided great customer service. We will definitely use them again in the future.

I was doing a major refurbishment of a property in disrepair and David carried out a full rewire at my property. He did an excellent job and I was very happy with his work. The quality of the work was excellent. I also found his prices reasonable and he is very honest. David is a trustworthy tradesman and he is not the kind of person who will try to overcharge or recommend additional work which isn't necessary. He spread the rewire out over time so my builders could carry out other work in between and he finished the rewire in good time and by the time I needed it done. If would certainly hire David again.

Rupert installed a new power switch to the bathroom shower. The switch had become stuck and not allowing power to the shower. We had quite an enjoyable chat while he carried out the work.

What a great experience. David came to see my husband and me to quote for several bits of electrical work. He was right on time, very polite, friendly and obviously knowledgeable about his trade, guiding us through options and outcomes. I am very nervous about having any trades in the house, but David is so calm and so easy to deal with. I had a couple of ‘false starts’ when I felt I couldn’t go ahead with the work but again, David was wonderful and assured me that the work could go ahead when I was ready. The job started yesterday and David worked so hard all day, not leaving until the exterior lights he was fitting were weatherproof and safe. I called R and D Goulbourne having seen their reviews on Which Trusted Traders in a panic on Monday evening as we had several unexplained, major electrical failures. Rupert agreed to come round first thing the next morning in spite of the fact that he was due to go on holiday to Bournemouth first thing that morning. He arrived as promised and was able to diagnose the problem quickly after some careful investigation and testing. He then fixed the problem which was a massive relief. Rupert is extremely pleasant and friendly, patient, knowledgeable and experienced and I had the utmost confidence in him. So much so that he is going to undertake a complete review of our electrics and change the fuse board at my request- not his suggestion. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company (his son David also works with him) and I am so pleased to have found them.

Rupert and David came to change/move and remove a number of light fittings, switches and sockets. They also ran data cables from the ground floor to the upper floors, and connected a video doorbell. We were really happy with the standard of work, and both Rupert and David were easy to talk to, and gave us good suggestions on what to do, as we started off pretty clueless. They even worked around our decorating, and came back to fit some sockets once other trades had been in, with no issues and no extra charge. All round great experience and hoping to work with them again in future!
