I have used Martindale’s for several years for all my plumbing jobs. They have always given excellent service at a reasonable price.

The engineer was really friendly and professional. He carried out the service and explained everything to me. I had to nip out during the time slot I was expecting him to arrive so I rang the office and they were very flexible and quick to offer a solution. Would definitely use again.

We’ve had 3 jobs done by R J Martindale Ltd now, the first was a new boiler fitting, the second was fixing some leaking radiators and the third was our annual boiler service. Each time the work has been scheduled in quickly, well organised (all 3 times we’ve had a reminder email the day before of the work and the guys have turned up on time) and professionally undertaken to a high standard. The guys doing the work are always friendly and clean up after themselves.

I had a boiler installed by a Company that did not do service contracts. I had a look around and found this Company. Talk about bending over backwards to ensure I had the right cover for my needs is an understatement. Joanne the lady I spoke to was fantastic in explaining everything and making sure I knew what was happening and what to expect when they came to do the service. The lads turned up to do the service at the stated day and time and were very polite and professional, they explained what they were doing and went through everything to make sure I understood. If you are looking for service engineers for your central heating system these are the guys to contact. We needed to have a new boiler fitted as British Gas had made rather a mess of repairs to our old boiler. Ryan from RJ Martindale came out to explain to us what the problem was and what choices we had with a new boiler. We felt confident in his firm’s ability to provide us with a new combi boiler and the work was carried out a few days later. The 3 fitters arrived on time and promptly put all the covers down to stop any mess. They worked so hard that day, despite it being one of the hottest days of the year. They made sure we were inconvenienced as little as possible when the gas and water were turned off. We were given a full explanation of how the new boiler worked and we were left with a perfectly clean and tidy house and garage. All the old water tanks and pipes were taken away and the drive was swept. I will certainly be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Ryan and his team are great. I’ve been using Ryan’s services for years. They are reliable, punctual and friendly. They care about the job they’re doing. They turn up when they say they will and the actual cost is the same as the quote they give you!

Having recently joined R J Martindales premier homecare cover scheme, we had to request a visit as we were having problems. They efficiently arranged a date to suit us. They turned up when they said they would. They identified and fixed the problem within an hour. We are so impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of this company!

I have recently joined Ryan Martindale for our central heating and plumbing emergency cover and have found them very good. The customer service department is very helpful. They are good value for money. The service engineer who came for the initial inspection, Luke Walton was very thorough and pleasant.

Fantastic quick same day response to our problem from RJ Martindale plumbing & heating solutions to assess our old leaking tank & old boiler that we had to cut the water off to that left us with no water supply. Big thank you to Luke & Aaron for attending so quickly the same day we called and providing a temporary cold water solution to manage with & completing a thorough inspection of the problem & helping to provide us with a great quote from Ryan which we accepted and the work was scheduled to take place within a week. Scott, dan & toby arrived to fit the new boiler & central heating and were all very friendly, professional & explained what they were doing and made it so easy for us to understand and were extremely good at their jobs and really courteous & very tidy too, all the lads that helped get our problem sorted very quickly are a credit to you and we would highly recommend using this company to get the best job done as soon as possible, great customer service from all & really happy, thanks again.

Martindale came to carry out a yearly service, this was done with professionalism and quality. The two engineers were both polite and helpful . Work done and I am satisfied.

So pleased with my new electric shower, which R J Martindales not only chose for me but installed fast and professionally. My old shower was dismantled and taken away and the work area was left spotless. Perfect.

New boiler installed in 5 hours. All carpets covered in hall, stairs and bedroom where the boiler is sited. Lovely guys who worked smoothly and methodically, leaving the premises perfectly clean. Very reasonable fixed price, far cheaper than other quotes

I moved from another provider to Martindales a few weeks ago as they were local to me and had been highly recommended as giving a personal service. From my first conversation with them I knew I had made the right decision. They are professional, thorough, organised, helpful and friendly and really do make you feel like you are their most important customer with the personal care given. Luke who visited our rental property went above and beyond what he had to do with no extra charge and our tenant said he was ‘lovely’ Joanne and Grace in the office always answer the phone promptly in a cheerful manner and are more than happy to help with any queries. And Ryan came back to my first enquiry out of hours very quickly too. Over all I am very pleased with the exceptional service and would highly recommend this lovely local business .

Ryan has been our gas boiler engineer since he took over the business of his former employer to whom he was apprenticed. He fitted our boiler and has serviced it annually and will continue to do so. He is clean, tidy, prompt, professional, and his charges are reasonable. He ensures he leaves our appliances safe to use and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

The engineer arrived exactly at the time agreed, he was very polite, extremely efficient & kept everything really clean & tidy whilst working. When he finished he explained how to use the new boiler & ensured i knew how to use the heating & water. The water is now flowing far better than before & the new boiler works very well. All correspondence with Martindales both before & after fitting was brilliant & they fitted my new boiler within days as my old one had completely broken & we had no hot water. The price was very competitive & I would highly recommend them if you need a boiler or heating system.

I found RJ Martindale quite by chance some years ago and requested a boiler service. I honestly couldn’t have chosen better. The engineers are polite, helpful, friendly and the cost of servicing is very favourable to others I’ve had in the past. From calling me every year and scheduling an appointment to getting the job done is a smooth process and one less thing I have to remember. Honestly can’t praise them enough.

Having been with a national gas and electric provider and used their annual boiler and fire service provision for many years I decided enough was enough, both in terms of waiting and cost. I moved to Martindales in July and I have to admit that the standard of work, the cleanliness, the cost and the overall level of communication far exceeded anything I had ever received from the other provider. All in all - it was the best move we have ever made and I would fully recommend Martindales services to anyone thinking of changing.

Scott and Toby did a fantastic job fitting our new replacement boiler. They turned up on time, worked efficiently, were tidy and polite. Even found a fault on the new boiler that could have easily been hidden, but they ordered a new boiler that was delivered quickly and replaced. My partner and I recently had a Hive fitted to our boiler by R J Martindale Ltd and we have to say the service we received was second to none. We spoke to a very pleasant lady on the phone to get booked in who was very accommodating to our needs. When the engineer turned up he was very polite and professional. He gave us a call while he was en-route to say that he will be on time which we thought was great! After he’d carried out the job he helped us with the app set up on our phones to make sure we were happy with the installation and insisted that if we had any problems to give the office a call and it will be dealt with straight away. Needless to say, we didn’t have any problems! He even left the kitchen cleaner than when he’d arrived ha! We don’t normally leave reviews, but because the service was so good we had to put it out there. We will definitely be using this service again! Thank you!

Martindale were recommended by the Boiler supplier. They attended site to confirm what work was required and provided a quote for the complete installation. This involved removing the old combi boiler and replacing it with the new one. Also, they recommended that they would do a full inspection of the radiators and balance the system if required. First impressions were very good as they explained all the work required. Once on site they explained the work required again to confirm all parties were on the same wavelength. They then proceeded to protect all floor covering in the kitchen and on the stairs as the boiler was in the loft space. Once finished they cleaned up and took all existing parts away. All work was completed as quoted on time and to budget. The Manager of the company followed up with a tel call about 2 days later to confirm that we were happy with the work and to confirm that his work force were polite and informative. The engineers explained all the instruction for the boiler and controller and set them up to our requirements. They confirmed the communications details for any issues.
