We used R O Allum last year to undertake internal decorating works when we moved into our house. Their work was of very good quality and their staff could not have been more helpful. They delivered everything we needed to a high standard. In recent weeks we decided to do some hard landscaping in our garden and had no hesitation in offering the work to Mark at R O Allum after our previous experience. They removed old concrete and decking, dug out additional flower bed space, laid some turf, a new patio and path and painted the fence. We are very pleased indeed with the results and the price was competitive. Our garden was always left clean and tidy, the team were onsite early every morning and everyone who came was introduced by name if I was there, each of them friendly, pleasant, polite and they just got on with it. We always feel able to trust the Allum team on our property if we are not there which is a big plus. We would certainly recommend R O Allum and Sons.

I have just waved goodbye to the team and couldn't be happier. The quote was competitive and the team were courteous, punctual and professional. In retrospect we probably should have moved out but it is easy to be wise after the event. I know that we were in the way but the guys tried their best to ensure that our home was as habitable as possible. The big plus is that most of the work is 'in house' therefore there is no passing the buck to subcontractors nor missing days, waiting for the right tradesman to turn up - someone was here every day often 8 +, all intent on getting the job done as quickly as possible but without compromising quality. From first contact to last Mark and the team were fantastic. We had an external wall around our garden built and the workmanship is great. So many compliments from passers by and neighbours.
