We had Russ come to a new property we recently purchased, we wanted an additional radiator fitting, another replacing & some new valves fitted to others. Russ was prompt, has an excellent standard of work, gave us some great advice & managed to complete the work in one visit. Price was also good, very happy with service.

Russ came out very quickly on a Saturday to an emergency repair at my elderly Mum's. Work was minor in the end and his charge reflected this. An honest guy who cares about his work. I would definitely recommend him and I will certainly use him again!

Had a new boiler and pipework fitted by R&S and from initial inspection to quote to supply and fit the service by Russ and his team was exceptional. Professional, courteous and quality work completed on schedule.

This is the second time I have used Russell from R&S Plumbing. Both jobs were small: replacement valve on WC; replacement electric shower. In both cases Russell responded quickly, and did the job with little delay. His work is neat and tidy, no mess left behind and his charges are reasonable. It's a great comfort to know that there is a reliable plumber who can be called on to do a job when needed! I would have no hesitation in recommending R&S plumbing.

R&S Plumbing originally installed our Vaillant Boiler 2 years ago (He cancelled a weekend trip to help us out and installed the new boiler in a day - really pleased with the service and the new Vaillant boiler and intelligent thermostat). Russ also spent some time explaining how everything works. Today was the second annual service. Engineer (Russ) arrived when promised, serviced the boiler including doing all the required tests, logged the service in the record book and emailed me a completed service checklist. Would recommend this company without reservation for installs and services.

Russ has quite literally just left my house. I've not even had the invoice yet but absolutely felt compelled to write this review as soon as I could. I found Russ on this website so it seemed fair to return here to leave feedback. Cutting to the chase, Russ has been excellent in servicing and repairing our boiler. I actually volunteered the option to replace and, where some traders would jump on this immediately, Russ dismissed this out of hand and said there was no need at this time. He was brilliant, friendly, polite, clean, tidy and efficient. He even took well to my dogs who are a bit excitable and distracting at the best of times. He took time to talk me through what was going wrong, and what was going well...he explained everything when asked and took real interest in ensuring I was happy. Really very pleased I called him this morning, and grateful that he was able to get us back to working heating and water by six pm tonight. An absolute star.

Our cold water tank sprang a leak just before New Years Eve leaving us with no water in the house. At a time when no one else responded to calls or was willing to come out, Russell found a replacement tank (no easy task at that time of year) and came out to fix it for us. Highly professional and going above and beyond what any other plumber in Cheltenham was willing to do I would highly recommend him.

We found Russell on trustedtraders. He responded promptly and although the leak was a small job for him, we always felt he understood our concerns, and treated the problem professionally. The standard and efficiency of work was exemplary. Exactly the type of tradesperson you want to trust your home to. Thank you.

Moved in to a new house with many plumbing issues. Russell has been a godsend. He has fixed leaking taps, leaking toilets and advised on rain water entering our boiler. Russell is always on time, professional, friendly and very accommodating. He was recommended to us by a friend, and he is now firmly written into our book of trusted traders. Russell also offered to help me put up a picture, another act of kindness you unfortunately don't expect these days. Would recommend Russell to anyone requiring a reliable, trustworthy plumber.

Russ arrived today to service my boiler. He was on time and arrived in van full of tools for the job. Russ spotted a couple of small issues with my boiler installation (missing sealant around the flue on inside wall and PRV pipe that needed better termination) which he also fixed without any additional charge. I spent some time chatting with Russ and felt very confident that he would do a good job. He did not rush and was probably on site for an hour and a half. At the end of a service I got a report in a PDF and Russ also talked me through what he had found. The boiler is only three years old and everything was well.

I picked Russ’s company from the Trusted Traders list with no prior knowledge of the company. I emailed on Bank Holiday Sunday, hoping for a reply on the Tuesday. It was a small job for him (although important to us) but he replied that evening. We exchanged a couple more messages, including an estimate, and the work was booked in for the end of the same week. Russ turned up on time, completed an excellent job and charged as estimated. Couldn’t ask for more.

Called to fix boiler - came same day and was fixed promptly even though it is an old boiler he was able to source replacement parts. Cannot praise high enough.

Russell responded to my call promptly, and as we were going to visit our daughter the following day, he went out of his way to arrive a couple of hours after my call. Leak fixed, great value.

Russell was recommended to us by a friend in our street. He quoted and subsequently sourced and fitted a new boiler for us,as well as doing other odd jobs whilst he was here. Fairly priced and very swiftly sorted, Russ is a commensurate professional. I would certainly trust him with the keys to my house to do works whilst I was out. Before we decided to fully replace our boiler, he offered to do a repair but did actually signpost us to manufacturer directly as he felt they would be able to offer a cheaper repair. Russ clearly values building long term trust based relationships and doing the right thing Top bloke, highly recommended.

Russell solved our problem of a leaking and constantly running toilet. He was thorough, helpful and friendly and I wish I had discovered him years ago. His bill was very reasonable and reflected the time spent and the difficulty of the job. I would certainly go to him again.

After reading the Which? local reviews I gave Russell call to explain that the thermostat to my boiler system had failed. Although Russell was fully booked for the next few weeks he gave me some advice on who could help to rectify the issue. However, as the conversation progressed Russell mentioned that he could pop over the following evening to take a look if it wasn't an emergency. Needless to say, the following evening Russell turned up and within an hour had the thermostat changed, tested and provided guidance on how to program the thermostat controller.

I had a crisis under the kitchen sink which R & S fixed! Russ came on time and cheerfully tracked the problem down. New parts were required and they swiftly appeared. All in all it was a very satisfactory event: life is now back to normal! I would strongly recommend R & S.

I was very pleased with the servicing of my boiler. Russell is very friendly and shared a lot of useful information on the boiler and to help with some other work I need to have done. He was a lot more thorough than others I have used in the past and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and to use again.

Am so happy to have found Russell on “Which Trusted Traders”. He is a true professional, with a quality of work superior to most Cheltenham plumbers I have used over the past 20 years. Will certainly use him again.

For the second year I have used this company to service my gas boiler and heating system. The second year because the first year the work was completed in a very professional way and I feel that I can always call should anything go wrong knowing it would be put right. This engineer know his stuff and can put right anything in a heating system to my experience at the right price.

Russ gets my 5* review because, unlike many other plumbers that I have experienced, he returns calls, arrives when promised, is polite, gives an explanation of work needed and always completes jobs to a high standard.

Replacement of induction hob with Gas - Russell was on time, quick to do the job, a pleasure to have in the house and not expensive. He also arranged for a good electrician to call in quickly to complete the job. Trustworthy and professional.

The kitchen tap had come loose. Russel turned up at the agreed time (to the minute) and fixed it at reasonable cost - and was friendly as well. He even showed me how I can fix it if it happens again.

Can really only endorse all the reviews already entered. Russell replaced (and relocated) a faulty shower pump that an earlier plumber had incorrectly installed in the loft and on a second job replaced a broken sink tap. Brilliant guy. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
