We had a problem with damp all down our external wall (of an end terrace) and needed the whole wall damp proofed and replastered. They also fitted a wall vent in our bedroom. RB did a brilliant job to an incredibly high standard. Our house is now in tip-top condition and looking better than ever.

Project: Replacement of joists, timber floor, damp proofing, plastering work to walls with new external ventilation in a Victorian mid terraced house. From the initial detailed assessment of the work required Ryan was thorough in keeping us accurately and well informed of progress throughout the work programme to completion of the project. An example of his attention to detail was the daily photographic report we received. Every communication from us received a prompt, courteous and informative reply with all associated project documentation received in a timely manner. The quality of workmanship was first class, completed on time and within the agreed budget. The quotation for the work was detailed with clear descriptions and explanations. I sourced several quotes for re-plaster after electrical works had been carried out in my living room. Ryan was one of the few trade people which kept to the arranged appointment and supplied electronic quote/paperwork as promised. After booking the job, Ryan was flexible on his schedule when I needed to postpone due to some further electric works needed. The work was finished in one day, and the team tidied up after themselves. They also removed the flooring in the room which was above and beyond. I recently bought a house and only after stripping off the wallpaper prior to moving in did I discover extensive damp throughout. Despite being on a tight timescale before I had to move in Ryan managed to fit me in and essentially rebuild my house from the inside damp proofing and plastering a lot of the walls. Ryan and his team were all really tidy and did a brilliant job, even when issues cropped up he got it sorted with no stress and for a really reasonable price. The communication during the job was excellent and he sent me pictures of all the work that was completed each day so I could see the progress. Once the plaster was stripped off some problems were discovered, these were dealt with without any fuss by Ryan who, after discussion with us, arranged for an excellent electrician to make safe the electrics in the kitchen, and his team did the remedial work that was needed by the lounge window. I asked RB to give a quote for what I thought was rising damp in my conservatory. He responded to my text immediately and came the following day - a Sunday morning. He used his equipment to test damp levels and said the readings were very low and that nothing needed doing (he suggested we apply anti-damp paint). Our Victorian end terrace needed a dpc,and after reading reviews we called Ryan. He came round and did a thorough investigation of the house,then went on to explain to us the work that needed carrying out. At this time,we asked if he could also skim and plaster the other unaffected walls and also the ceiling. A fully detailed quote was e-mailed to us,including a complete breakdown of works to be carried out etc. A commence date was agreed between us. The team arrived exactly on time every morning,were extremely thorough and cleaned everything up each day. I booked Ryan and his team for a second time as I was very pleased with the work completed on my damp course in Summer 2018. This time, his team replastered my upstairs, boarded the ceiling in my first bedroom, and removed the plaster from the stairwell, reboarded and plastered this area. The quote was detailed and he explained the process, with a breakdown of cost. The cost of the works was as quoted. Due to results from an independent survey carried out on behalf of the Buyer of my property. The surveyor recommended further investigation & I required advice & a quote for any remedial works that may be necessary. I contacted Ryan by phone. We have a property that had a dry rot problem which required the whole of the ground floor to be stripped the problem was so bad. We got 3 contractors to give us a quote, but went with Ryan and his team after doing some research and reading reviews from previous customers and we were not disappointed. Once the work was started we were kept up to date with the progress of the works on a daily basis and the works were completed to a very high standard. Ryan gave us a time frame for the works to be completed and he and his team went above and beyond to ensure this was attained, as we had a tight schedule to adhere to. Installed a damp proof membrane to the whole of my party wall in 2 days which involved removal of all the plaster on some walls due to the thickness. Ryan & the guys were on time, friendly & efficient. Ryan explained things to me really well including the extra plastering required. He also said some sections didn't need doing, saving me money and also carried out a few repairs to my patio window seals at no extra cost. Super happy with the job and the joiner did a great job too on the brand new skirting boards. Ryan and his team recently carried out damp proofing repairs to my porch using an impermeable membrane to the walls. They finished off by re-plastering the walls and putting on new skirting boards.
