Ed gave us a comprehensive quote for the work, started and finished on time, and completed the work for his quoted price. He was helpful in recommending and getting the parts we needed, and was happy to amend the work to suit our requirements. Ed was diligent and a pleasure to have around our home. We would certainly use him again, and recommend him highly.

Ed was great can't recommend him enough. Very friendly over the phone when getting details for initial quote. However before the arranged date for site visit I did ask for additional work which Ed was quick to respond to. On the day Ed worked quick, efficiently, explained things I had questions on and performed some wizardry that allowed me to have bathroom mirror that requires mains supply not have any external wiring - even though it was a tiled wall backed onto plasterboard that was dabbed onto concrete. Also took the time to clear up properly after so the flat was left in a good state.

Ed has done work for us more than once. Several have been major projects but today it was a small job, although important to us. He mended our landing light and replaced the switch. Everything was done neatly, no fuss and no mess, and he gave us good advice about security. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Contacted Ed regarding power tripping in our new house. He was with us within the hour and spent a good 3 hrs checking the house over. Ed found the faulty components and replaced them on the spot. Very professional and friendly service and would highly recommend Ed (Rich Electrical) to anyone needing confidence in finding and using a good, competent and reliable electrician. Ed fitted new security lights for us at the front and back of the house at the beginning of this year (2020). He is very professional and reliable, and always goes the extra mile. I also used him a couple of years ago to check and replace a buzzing light switch, and again Ed was very helpful. No hesitation recommending him.

We asked Ed to Test & Inspect the old wiring of the c1910 terrace we have lived in for 40 years. We picked him based on his excellent Which reviews. He gave us the unsurprising news that the electrics were unsatisfactory and rewiring was recommended. He had a free week available 2 weeks later & we thought it best to bite the bullet and get the job done. Given the amount of furniture & stuff crammed into the house, we put everything in store and stayed nearby so Ed had an empty house to work on. From start to finish Ed was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, reliable, patient, confidence inspiring and used his initiative. As the time approached for the work to start we started getting anxious. He kindly had a long phone chat with a more technically inclined relation about our worries over our old lath & plaster walls. Ed and his 2 assistants, Luke & Harry, completed the rewire (apart from the more recently done small kitchen) over 5 days. In addition to the rewiring with new sockets, switches, we had a new bathroom extractor fan, security lights front & back, fire alarms, heat/steam alarm in kitchen, new LED strip lights in the kitchen, a new fuse box placed in a more accessible cupboard. Ed contrived to do it all so skillfully with minimal damage to the old walls. Consequently we had no replastering to be done and Luke was able to do the filling in. We feel safe in the house now and delighted Ed handled the job so brilliantly. 100% recommended.

We had Ed fit circuits for two ovens and an induction hob and then more recently, now our new kitchen is in, he came round to wire in the hob and ovens and also replaced the faces on four sockets and fixed/replaced a faulty socket. He did a great job. Throughout, Ed was really good at explaining to us the different options for routing the cables and very friendly. All the work was completed at the price originally quoted, and it was clear that Ed takes safety very seriously. He kindly always let us know when he was about to turn fuses off etc. (extremely helpful to know if the wi-fi is about to go out when you are working from home!). We won't hesitate to get in touch with Ed again next time we need an electrician.

The best electrician I've used bar none. Prompt, efficient, genuine, can-do approach. Really does go the extra mile to get the work done to the best standards!

He responded quickly to my inquiry and came and assessed the work. He provided me with an estimate and a date and time for the work to be carried out. Today he completed the work. He was on time, the work was of a very high standard. He kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up before leaving. He is a professional.
