From a single slate to a complete new roof, roofcare (midlands) ltd offer a comprehensive range of roofing services using traditional, modern materials and techniques. we are a family run business based in Nottingham and Retford, our commitment to customer satisfaction and professional reliable service are shown in our excellent references, in fact 80% of our work comes to us by word of mouth.
We cover the whole of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire including the surrounding areas, we provide free quotations and video surveys so you can see first hand any problems with your roof. we also carry out insurance work and emergency repairs.
We do not use any sub contractors and all of our team are fully trained and insured.
All of our work is guaranteed for a minimum of five years.
We also rebuild chimneys and walls and carry out repointing work.
We can also supply numerous references.

John replaced a roof at our property that was leaking due to tiles incompatible with its pitch having previously been installed before we bought the house. He was clearly very knowledgeable when surveying the work required and proposed a solution that was fairly quoted before completing the job to a high standard, meaning no more leaks and a roof that is visibly of a higher standard even to a layperson's untrained eye. Would definitely recommend Roofcare. Thanks!

John and team came and assessed leaking garage roof flashing and rear extension tile degradation- phoned Monday, they came next day. Quickly identified issues, proposed solutions and explained best course of action. Booked in and carried out agreed works, but also noted other roof with uneven tile spacing, and also resolved this. Garage now perfect, no leaks. Tile replacement and re-setting of ridges done to very high standard. Would recommend and use again.

John from Roofcare removed and replaced two damaged panels. A new hopper and downpipe were also fitted. Whilst John had roof access he also cleared our gutters for us. All rubbish was removed from site on completion. The work was completed within a day and for the quoted price. We would have no hesitation to recommend Roofcare.

Since “finding” John through Which? Trusted Traders we’ve used him several times for repairs to our 130 year old slate roof, recently quite a complicated one. His knowledge, expertise and standard of work are all impressive. He’s also very responsive: he’s just re-fixed some fallen guttering (poorly fitted by a builder a few years ago), within a couple of days of being asked.

John repaired damage to our roof in 2024 after a storm blew off a number of ridge tiles. He's very friendly and easy to talk to, and we discussed options for the roof repair which helped me to make a well-informed decision. The work was carried out quickly and on schedule, and John replaced some other damaged tiles which were discovered once the scaffolding was up. Tiles were moved around to keep the front side of the property looking neatest, which was nice attention to detail. Everything was thoroughly tidied up afterwards, and John was very good at communicating (e.g. to let me know about scaffolders coming).

John has worked for us twice now, repairing a leaking bay window roof and replacing the front guttering on the main roof and bay window. On both occasions, the work was done in a timely fashion, to a very high standard and the site was thoroughly cleaned after the work was completed. John was particularly good at explaining exactly what he had done to complete the repairs and what other problems he had spotted that would need attention in the future. The day after the guttering job, I noticed that one of the downpipe brackets had not been screwed in place and, having let John know, he was very apologetic and came round the next working day to sort it out. Overall, we have been very pleased with the service provided by Roofcare (Midlands) Ltd and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody.
