We’ve used John previously for a couple of repairs and he’s just re-roofed a lean-to roof with new slate. He’s done an excellent job. We’re very impressed by his expertise, high standards, hard work, and reliability. He’s also friendly, helpful, good at keeping us informed, and has a nice sense of humour. We’re hoping to have him back soon to sort out some problems with our main roof.

We first asked John at Roofcare to undertake urgent repairs on our own roof in 2018; on the recommendation of a friend. We found John and his team to be friendly and extremely efficient and they completed the work quickly and to an excellent standard. What really stood out for us was that John explained at every stage the work required, and gave us an update at the end of each day as to progress, including photographs. As a result, when my Mum recently required some repairs to her own roof, we didn’t hesitate to call John. As the work wasn’t urgent and due to the coronavirus situation, we scheduled the work for a mutually convenient date. Once again, the repairs were undertaken as scheduled and within the quoted amount; and John and his team were friendly, efficient and the work was completed to the usual excellent standard. We would therefore highly recommend Roofcare (Midlands) Ltd and thank John and the team again for their excellent work.

John and team were very responsive to get back to my enquiries, able to quickly arrange to visit (and were on time when doing so), and undertook the roof inspection + follow up work in a professional and friendly manner. John was also very open throughout with how the work was proceeding and provided accurate quotes which was appreciated. Would happily use again and recommend.

He was punctual and very personable. We were kept informed every step of the way. The work was done efficiently with no disruption. Everything was cleared and left neat and tidy. Basically a total professional, will definitely employ again

Roofcare Midlands came to repair damage caused by previous roofers. The two companies couldn't be more different. John was very professional, friendly with great communication. He turned up when he said he would, rang to explain that a little more work needed to be done than initially thought, explaining the problem. He kept me updated with phone calls and sent pictures and videos of the work that needed doing and the repair. Everything was left clean and tidy. Would definitely use again and would recommend.

John arrived to provide a quote promptly. He took time to explain the issue and possible solutions. Further to this, he supplied a detailed quote which layed out the work which was necessary. He arrived on time and worked hard throughout the day to get the problem fixed. He had to move items in the garden around in order to access the roof safely, and all of this was put back in its original position. Upon completion, John provided us with photographs of his work and talked us through what he had done once more. He told us that in the event of any issues that we should get in touch. After trying to track down a reliable roofer, we were very happy with John's work and communication.

Roofcare Midlands have done 3 repairs to the roof on our large, Victorian house. They did a great job - they are reliable, efficient and expert in all they do. The team is also friendly, nice to have around and sensitive to the current situation. I’m sure we will be using them again and am happy to recommend them.

First impressions- responded to initial enquiry straight away..wonderful! Followed by site visit and quote, very personable. Once quote accepted kept in touch via text and always responded and turned up when arranged. Worked solidly for 1.1/2 days, tidied up after, no mess and leaking roof and broken guttering repaired. Would recommend Roofcare (Midlands) to anybody that asks.

Great company run by John who really knows his stuff and is an all round lovely guy. Quotes were quick and reasonably priced. Scaffolding went up and down on time and the work was done to an excellent standard, particularly as no sooner had they finished a load of storms came in and really put it all under strain - but no issues at all! They replaced all our old guttering, sanded and painted the sills and sanded and painted all the fasciae and sorted out some newer guttering that hadn't been done in the best way. Being an old semi-detached house ran into one or two issues but John was happy to halt work, explain the problems and provide solutions without any added cost to ensure the job would be finished to a good standard. All in all very happy with the work and would definitely use them again for any external house issues.

John came round promptly and have us a reasonable quite for repairs to our roof. He managed to fit us in quickly and did an excellent job. Very friendly and things us exactly what he was doing and why. I would definitely recommend John if you need any work doing on your roof in the Nottingham area.

John was brilliant! He came to do an emergency repair on a single ridge tile but found a couple of other issues when up on the roof which he fixed while he was there. He responded to my email requesting help the same day. He was friendly and knowledgeable. What more can you ask!

We called Roofcare (Midlands) Ltd after we moved into our new house and found a bad patch of damp in a single storey room in the house. We thought this issue was being caused by a potential hole in the tiles. John arrived and carried out a full inspection including photos and videos. John talked us through the issues we had and let us know the various options we had to fix the problem. John was very clear and answered any questions posed. John carried out the work we requested very quickly which was appreciated. Once the work commenced and tiles were removed it became apparent that the issues we had were worse than we realised. John immediately asked me to look out an upstairs window that overlooked the single storey roof so he could show what the problem was once again. As before he was very clear and let us know what our options were. We made a decision as to how to proceed which John then implemented. The work was completed very quickly to a high standard. John proves his work fairly and allowed us to make all the decisions he was not pushy. I would recommend John for roof repairs and will have him back if we have any issues in the future.

Called Roofcare for a number of jobs and within a day they were around to give me a quote. Once I had accepted they gave me a schedule of the work to be carried out along with the time it would take. All the work was done very professionally with no hassles whatsoever. Great job and everything was done as promised. Have recommended to my neighbours and would highly recommend to anyone else. John was a pleasure to deal with Despite COVID, he detailed the work needed and delivered exactly as promised. He foresaw a number of potential issues and contacted us, keeping us in the loop and suggested appropriate solutions. I would definitely recommend him

Roofcare (Midlands) recently refurbished my utility room roof, re-felted my garage roof and rectified improperly installed guttering. I was very pleased with the work. There were a few problems with the existing roof that could only be discovered after the work was started but I was kept fully informed and consulted on the appropriate remedial action. The work was completed to my satisfaction and within the agreed estimate. They demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the roofing business and carried out the work to a high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

My elderly Mam's flat roof was leaking in heavy rain, John identified the problem and made a quality repair within days with minimal fuss.

John from Roofcare quickly came out to assess the problem, and soon realised what needed to be done. The phase of wet weather at the time & other work commitments, meant that it was difficult to schedule when the work could be started but before too the work began. John was very thorough in his approach, telling us exactly what had to be done, giving us photos of the problem & drawing diagrams . He gave us an estimate and the final bill did not go over this figure. The work turned out to be more complicated than he had hoped, exascerbated by a cheap repair job which the previous owners had arranged and poor work done by the company that had built the roof extension where the work was required. On the days the work was done John & colleague, worked hard over all the hours that were available and a couple of days after finishing John returned to ensure that tiles etc had settled OK. Overall work was done to schedule as far as the weather permitted. We had confidence in John, his work and in his explanations . He did his v best to explain about the work and was very approachable if we had any questions. After receiving the final invoice I was careless in making an online payment, getting one figure wrong leading to a significant over payment. I fairly soon realised this and quickly called John to let him know. Without any quibbles , within an hour or so we had received the amount overpaid in our account. This illustrates why he is a trader to be trusted.

We had gutter and down pipes replaced, water butts installed and fascia boards painted. Everything was satisfactory and done to time. If I have any more roof work to do I will call them again. I don't actually know about value as I didn't get any other quotes.

John at Roofcare is highly professional. From estimating, quotation to the quality of work carried out I am highly impressed. The work was carried out at the end of February/ early March and the weather was challenging. Never the less he worked tirelessly and safely to ensure the work was not impeded. An effective communicator able to give an honest assessment of what is necessary to restore the property and we are very pleased with the outcome which was completed to schedule including the organisation for erection and removal of the scaffolding. His sensitivity in dealing with neighbours in the adjoining property was also appreciated. I highly recommend his services and he will be my first choice for future services.

This was the second time I had called upon John at Roofcare Midlands, the first time being to fix a downpipe that was leaking at roof level. This time was to make a cooker hood vent watertight and replace various broken tiles. It can be hard getting a trader for small jobs such as these, but John was happy to do them. He took pictures of the various problems to show me as not everything was visible from ground level, which gave me confidence that the problems were genuine. I didn't feel under pressure to get anything done that I didn't want or need. Overall, I had a feeling that John is a very honest trader who can be relied upon to do whatever work is needed.

Prompt, polite and did what he said he would within the agreed timescale and price. My lead flashing had been poorly fixed back after a neighbour had some work done by some less than professional traders.

Very pleased with how thoroughly the work was carried out (and explained beforehand). Would recommend without hesitation.
