We were looking for someone to paint the front of our Victorian terraced house and Steve came highly recommended. His quote was very reasonable, and we were delighted with the job he did for us - high quality and superb value. Steve and his colleague worked hard in very hot conditions and got the work done very quickly. They were friendly, punctual and tidied up very thoroughly at the end of each day. We are so pleased with the results - we've had so many compliments from neighbours. We'd absolutely recommend Steve to anyone looking for a high quality paint job and friendly service at an affordable price.

We’ve just had our downstairs lounge finished and painted by Steve and the team and we are very happy, highly recommended. Steve popped around to give us a quote and then was able to book the job in quickly which was great. Vic did the finishing of the walls and painting and we are very happy with it. Really good finish even on some parts of the walls that had previously been a bit rough. Would definitely work with them again for future jobs.

Steve and his colleague undertook painting and decorating to our lounge and hallway. They arrived at the agreed time and worked hard but were always polite and easy to have around. They prepared well, taping and protecting all undecorated surfaces and their work was well executed and we are very pleased with the finished result. They finished ahead of schedule, left everywhere tidy and as the drying permitted returned most furniture back in place. The final invoice was exactly in line with the estimate.

Steve and Vic are reliable, honest and above all expert decorators. They did such a brilliant job with our bedrooms a few years ago that we called them back to do the rest of the house. Steve did a great job painting our hallway. He is very professional and did a great job. He arrived on time, protected our carpets perfectly and left everywhere clean and tidy too.

Steve and Vick were brilliant, able to fit in the work (decorating internally 3 rooms in our flat) at relatively short notice. They spent a lot of time at the beginning ensuring all belongings and the rooms not being decorated were protected and covered in plastic. Then they regularly checked in to ensure they were doing it as we wanted. Hugely personable and really care about the quality of the job they are doing, and the flat and our wooden sash windows look like new! Wouldn't hesitate to ask them to do work in the future.

Steve and Vic have just painted the whole interior of our house and everything went very smoothly. They both arrived on time every day and worked constantly and cleanly. Everything was covered and protected from paint. My cousin allowed me to use his account to find a decorator in Chingford to paint and repair one outside window. The frame was partially rotten and needed to be repaired and then painted. There had been water ingress internally as well which meant the frame had to be painted inside as well. Steve contacted me very quickly after I had emailed him. Gave a reasonable quote and came round within 2 weeks of the quotation to complete the work. I am really happy with the work completed and will be using Steve's services in the future.

We are very happy to have engaged Steve and Vic to paint the interiors of our new flat. Steve discussed the work needed beforehand and came at the scheduled time. He used the appropriate paint and techniques and was clean and tidy and careful. I am pleased with the finish and he was a pleasure to have around. He went the extra mile to clean the windows and even did an extra bit of paintwork. I have already booked him for next year!

Steve quoted for the exterior redecoration of the outside of my timber windows, semi detached house in Wanstead and was very reasonable compared with other quote I had, he came with Vic and did a fantastic job, filling where necessary and making good. Vic was very tidy ever day clearing up after himself and very polite. Lucky with the weather meant the job was done perfectly to schedule and when they said. Steve helped introduce scaffolders and a carpenter to do some repairs and he stuck to his quote despite it being over a year old and my house looks perfectly lovely. Good communication and took time to clean the windows when the job was finished. Great job.

Steve provided a quote and then 2 days before starting work he arrived to discuss and try out paint colours. The main body of the work consisted of painting interior walls, skirting boards etc. and removing multiple large screws left from objects that had been hung on the walls, filling and decorating. He was prompt, courteous and very easy to deal with, and encouraged me to look for any items that needed his attention that we may have missed in earlier discussions/inspections. He also evened out a ceiling where there had been water damage from a shower on an upper floor, before painting, as well as reversing badly painted and crumbled stair rail and making it look like new. When walls, window sills or skirting boards required further layers of paint than we'd expected, he completed the work at no extra charge. When he realised that the total job would take him a day less than predicted, he reduced the cost of the work accordingly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I used this company in 2017 to paint a ceiling and then decorate my hall, stairs & landing & was delighted with everything about them which is why I was happy to contact them again. This time, I wanted them to redecorate my kitchen & repaint my lounge ceiling following a leak some time ago and the resulting water stain. They completed the kitchen in 2 days and the lounge ceiling in one and I was delighted with the outcome of both jobs. They were very accommodating, fitting in with my lack of availability, were very professional and I am more than happy to recommend them.

Steve was recommended by a friend. We asked him to paint our stairs and landings which he and Vic completed in good time, leaving all neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend his work and would be glad to employ him again.

Steve and Vic have just redecorated my entire bungalow and it was well worth the wait (due to them being much in demand). Leaving aside the fact that they are a pleasure to have in the house, the standard of preparation and finish was beyond my expectation. A great job with excellent advice and communication throughout and all at a very fair cost. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I contacted a couple of painters to obtain quotes to paint my flat but S C Campbells were considerably cheaper that their competitors. I was a little nervous that that might mean I was compromising on quality but I needn't have worried; the painting was done to an excellent standard. Moreover, I was orginally told the work would be completed in 7 working days, Steve then estimated 6 days but in the end it only took 5 allowing us to move back in 4 days earlier! Steve made the effort to come round to view the property before work started which was a great help allowing me to discuss a few final points with him face to face. He was then good enough to come again to pick up the keys before work started to avoid difficulties because of the tube strike. Unfortunately a small piece of the work was missed. However, Steve came within the week to rectify this and I saw at first hand his attention to detail. Throughout the work, Steve was pleasant and polite. He was kind enough to leave me some tape for putting up decorations to avoid damaging the new paintwork. Steve has mentioned that he is very busy and to be honest I am not surprised! All in all, I have no hesitation at all in recommending Steve and will definitely go back to him in the future should I need any further painting doing.

Steve painted my landing ceiling, removed wallpaper, and re-wallpapered a couple of walls on my landing. While he was in the process of removing the wallpaper from one of the walls, some plaster came loose. Steve was completely unfazed by this, and calmly applied fresh plaster, allowing it to dry, before applying the fresh wallpaper. He was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to about the job I needed done and put me at ease. He was fast and just took one day to complete a really lovely job. I will have no hesitation in asking him back for other decorating jobs I may have in the future.

Steve and his colleague Vick recently painted our ceiling after it had been replaced. They also repaired some of the wallpaper that had been damaged during the ceiling removal. Vick did a fantastic job of cleaning up the line between the existing wallpaper and the new coving which had was now slightly higher than the old ceiling. He also repainted two of the walls and the wood around the window seat. Steve was unfazed with our request for them to use a completely VOC free paint. They even came back to rectify a problem the builder had made with the coving. Overall we were very pleased and will definitely use them again for any future decorating work.

Stephen had previously worked for me a couple of months earlier and I was pleased with the work he carried out. He paid two more visits to me again, first towards the end of March, to prime and seal my landing ceiling and to strip the wallpaper off on a section of the wall that had got damp and discoloured, due to the continued rain we have been having. He came again on 22nd April, to paint over the sealed landing ceiling, and to put new wallpaper down. He did an excellent job and at the end, negotiated a very reasonable price. He is extremely pleasant and put me at my ease when I expressed concerns about the work, and very easy to contact on the phone. He will ring back more or less straight away if he isn't available at the time of my phone call to him.

The job was to paint the refresh the exterior of a two storey house (soffits, fascias and masonry) which had been neglected for some time. Lots of fiddly woodwork and parts challenging to access due to height and various obstructions. Work was done very efficiently and to a very high standard, with the soffits and fascias looking like they were new when done. Punctual, communicative, considerate and friendly throughout. Went the extra mile in removing guttering when roofers did not turn up. From getting the quote to tidying up afterward, the good price, a great experience all round. Highly recommended!
