Had a new boiler installed yesterday by Mark at SGS. He arrived on time and took the amount of time we were told. He was very courteous and polite. Particularly liked that he protected all carpets before he started. Checked with us throughout the work and left the house without any evidence of having been (apart from the new boiler of course). When he was finished he went through all the instructions with us and made sure we were happy with everything. Really no surprise that all went well as SGS have always done a first class job. Thank you all, much appreciated

The house is old and listed so really tough job. Ben Docking and Daniel Joseph went more than the extra mile! Everything brought unseen problems, they sorted them and using skill (and some creativity) made sure the problems were solved. They worked very hard in difficult conditions to get the job done so we could move back into our home. Thank you!

We decided to get a quote for SGS bathroom installation after purchasing our new bathroom from Island. Colin was professional and clearly had a lot of experience when he came out to quote. Having never done anything like this before we were reassured by SGS depth of expertise and experience backed up with their 10 year warranty so decided to go with them and we were pleased that we did. Phil the main fitter arrived on time each day and completed the job to a standard that exceeded our expectations. He was on hand to offer advice / guidance on the decorating we needed to do after. He left everything tidy each day, explained what his plans etc. Him, Colin and James the plumber are an asset to SGS. We won’t hesitate to use SGS for other works around the home in the future.

Ben Docking and Dan Joseph from SGS installed a completely new central heating system. I was so impressed with the way they handled a pretty complex job in my 1911 three storey terraced cottage. They were polite and easy to have around and have done a brilliant job. So pleased.

The workmen, Ben and Dan, arrived on time. After introducing themselves they prepared the site laying dustsheets and protecting the carpet. Great service from start to finish. A detailed initial survey followed by a competitive quote. Work started within a couple of weeks of the survey and they fitted their work around other jobs that were being done at the same time. 15 solar panels, battery and inverter all fitted in a couple of days (they would have completed the job in a day had the weather not been truly atrocious!). Work finished neatly and tidily. Would definitely recommend them.

Our bathroom was old and needed a complete renovation. SGS responded quickly, provided a competitive quote, and scheduled the work to be finished before my retirement. Jeff from SGS arrived on time daily, worked hard for two weeks, and provided excellent service, resulting in an outstanding new bathroom. We purchased a replacement Bathroom from Island Bathrooms and elected to have it installed by their recommended installer, SGS. The installation was completed in the time estimated to a very high standard, despite the challenges faced when removing the old bathroom. When faced with challenges the depth of experience that could be brought to bear was extensive, and resolved the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend SGS for the installation of a heating system, bathroom or any electrical or plumbing related work. You will save money in the long term, because you can be confident that the work will be completed to a high standard.
