S Mercer Plumbing

S Mercer plumbing has been looking after my plumbing and heating system for 17 years. I have a very old house and complex system but S Mercer has always managed to find any faults quickly, update where necessary and give advice where needed. I trust his advice and have always been happy with the work that has been carried out

I have no hesitation in recommending Sam Mercer as a very competent & excellent plumber. I've had various jobs carried out over the years by Sam - Includes New Boiler fitted and further yearly maintenance thereof ! Re balancing of radiators when some appeared to not to be working, even though I had bled them and thought there was a blockage. But he came over and rectified the problem without any fuss or bother and had them up & running in no time. I recently discovered a leak and Sam was prompt in response when I called him and discovered that the side nut & bolt needed replacing and not as I thought the radiator had a split in it . I currently have an unvented system for my central heating and hot water which Sam checked over when I first had it installed. I have always found Sam to be a friendly, reliable person and willing to explain what he has carried out on a visit. He has always told me to ring him if I have any plumbing questions or problems - which gives me assurance should anything go wrong. He sends a receipt by email and charges fairly for work he carries out.

We needed a new sink and tap in the kitchen, as our old one was in a bad way. Sam, (who I found online) came to take measurements and see exactly what was required, and within two days completed the job for us. His communication with us was good, and we were very satisfied with the work. We would certainly get in touch with Sam again if we had any plumbing or heating issues in the future, that needed attention.

Sam gave a prompt professional and efficient service, for a reasonable price, the work was carried out at my convenience, and I would happily recommend him.

The last job Sam did for us was a replacement boiler. He did a good for a reasonable price, clean efficient and on time. We always use Sam for all our plumbing and heating needs, his work is good and he always replies to messages and turns up on time, most reliable, fully recommended.

Sam Mercer has carried out many plumbing jobs for us over the years, from installing a complete bathroom to boiler maintenance and other smaller jobs. He always arrives on time, is cheerful, courteous and has always done a good professional job for us. I would highly recommend him.
