A few cockroaches had been seen on a couple of occasions. As set out in the schedule, Glen visited 3 times and administered 3 different types of treatment (gel, spray and trap) in appropriate locations. We were charged as per the price predicted. Glen explained what he was doing and why, and was at all times courteous and helpful. S & S is not the cheapest pest control service out there, but certainly appears to be most thorough. If they reappear I'll phone S & S without hesitation, but I don't expect I'll need to. I don't hesitate to recommend this service.

My wife & I have been shielding for a year so were appalled to realise we had a pest problem. We called Scott who had efficiently sorted out a problem for us some years ago. He got the picture immediately, came quickly, explained what he had found by phone from outside the house to help keep us safe, & undertook phase 1 of a 3 part eradication programme which was delivered & charged as promised & was successful. Both he & his service are smart, discreet & thoughtful & he has also advised us about how to prevent a recurrence. We would certainly use him again if we had another problem.

I would thoroughly recommend Scott. He visited us at short notice, quickly identified the root cause and then explained the course of action proposed and the timings of future visit. We had both a mouse and rat problem both of which I’m terrified of! We found Scott on Trusted Trader and chose him as he had such good reviews. He got back to me within 15 minutes and arrived the same afternoon. Due to my phobia I was extremely upset over the situation, but Scott put me at ease by assuring me that the problem could be sorted out and not to worry. Sure enough after three visits the issue has been resolved. This was on schedule and to the price agreed. Scott is extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. I could not recommend him and S&S Pest Control highly enough.

I found S&S when looking for pest control in Brentwood. I was told my late father's house may have mice, and as I live in London it wasn't the easiest thing to deal with. I did a few internet searches and called S&S. Scott was great, he called me back straight away, explained the process and he was happy to collect the keys from the estate agent for each of the three visits. Really pleased, great service, great value, and he kept me up to date throughout the process. Sorry it took me three weeks to write the review!

I contacted S&S Pest Control after seeing a rat running through my garden, very close to the house, on two occasions. Having overgoogled and convinced myself we had bed bugs. I rang around a few companies and not one company asked me any questions to confirm this was in fact the case being quoted close to £1000 for a treatment that I wasn’t even sure I needed. I then found Scott who was just lovely, friendly and treated me like a person not just a £. He asked for photos to which confirmed it wasn’t bed bugs but bird mites. He was able to visit days later and dealt with the problem professionally and safely which is super important at a time when we’re dealing with Covid 19. I can not recommend him enough. Unfortunately we suddenly found ourselves with a rat problem and were very anxious. I found Scott on the Which Trusted Trader website. He was a calming presence on the phone and did a great job of reassuring me. He laid out a clear treatment plan which included a number of visits and told me about the costs up front. On arrival he was again very reassuring, courteous, honest and professional. Scott advised that there were no quick fixes but the problem was resolved in the estimated timescales. Scott gave us great advice on disinfecting which is a key in this situation. Also, worth noting that Scott was available by SMS if we needed guidance in between visits. I would be delighted to recommend Scott without any hesitation.

I had looked at the top brand pest control company and was shocked at how much it would cost to get rid of the rats in our loft. Scott came round and took a look. Right from the first phone call Scott kept us aware of the situation. From our initial call we explained what we could hear, to the first visit (very fast), Scott gave his detailed analysis of what visitors we had in the attic (rats, not mice). He explained his procedure, to complete over three visits for baiting. This was verified over the period, as explained and by the third visit it was quiet in the attic. Scott pointed out the potential entry areas and suggested we get a roofer to eliminate these points. All kept to schedule, with a quick response from start to finish.
