This is the second time I have used Safety First Gas and Electric. Often smaller plumbing jobs are difficult to get a plumber to do but with Safety First they are happy to do smaller jobs as well as bigger ones. They fitted new taps, repaired an old mixer tap and fitted new shower and toilet fixings as well as unblocking a sink. Nothing is too much trouble and they give good advice on how to preserve the life of your fixtures and fittings. Always pleasant to deal with and they keep you informed. They also like to visit first (at no extra cost) before quoting so they understand exactly what you need prior to taking on the job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Following a water spillage in our home and told by the insurance company we were not covered with our policy I rang Safety First to sort out our central heating. User friendly Matty arrived very promptly quickly identified the problem and fixed it. We are warm again and able to hear our water. Well done Safety First. 😊😊😊

I was very pleased with Matt's service visit to work on our gas boiler. In addition to the service, he carried out the required annual gas safety check and fixed a leak left by a previous plumber (different company). Matt also voluntarily checked the gas meter for leaks, although this isn't required in the regulations. He arrived on time and was courteous throughout. I should also mention Lauren in the office who was very helpful setting up the appointment to suit my availability and the price for the work was very reasonable. I will certainly use this company again in future and don't hesitate to recommend them.

I had a few small plumbing jobs, a broken toilet flush, cloakroom taps that wouldn’t turn off and a broken toilet seat. Safety first gas and electric were happy to attend my property and provide a no obligation quote. They are very easy to deal with and booked an appointment time to suit me. They arrived within the time slot and emailed a quote the same day. Booking a time to complete the work was easy and quick! Professional throughout they are a pleasure to deal with and their workmanship and professionalism is excellent. I will definitely be using them again in future and recommending them to friends. If only all tradespeople were as good to deal with! Highly recommended.

Electric: Two of the Electric team attended my property to install spotlights in my kitchen - professional and efficient service. Gas: one of the gas engineers attended my property to carry out a gas safety check, again professional service and the job was completed efficiently. We recently had our ageing boiler removed and replaced with a new and far more efficient Baxi 800 Combi Boiler by Safety 1st Gas and Electric. The appointment was seamlessly arranged at a time to suit all parties and the work was carried out at the time and date that we had arranged with a minimum of disruption. All work was completed on the same day. The Engineers carried out the work to a high standard and removed the old boiler and all rubbish from our premises on completion leaving our home as they found it. Operation of the new boiler and thermostat were explained to us on completion. I would highly recommend Safety 1st Gas and Electric and will use their services again. Mrs Wendy Bannister
