This company caused water damage to me entire flat! Do not risk using them.

Absolutely dreadful company. I had a water cylinder replaced by Sandhurst. The plumber and apprentice who fitted the cylinder were so busy mucking about that they failed to seal a water pipe to the cylinder. Due to this my entire flat had water damage and I needed to move out of my property for nearly 3 months whilst it was dried out. Tony Bradley the director of Sandhurst gave many false promises to right the problem but faded away when he realised the scale of the negligent work. Due to a complete lack of confidence in how the cylinder was fitted I did not pay 50% of the quoted cost. I was correct to doubt this as 13 months on I now need the temperature probes in the cylinder replaced as the plumber also failed to fit a scale reducer. I live in a known hard water area! The same negligent plumber completed the commissioning check list stating that the cylinder was not fitted in a hard water area. There is a complete lack of attention to detail with this company or perhaps its just hoped things won't go wrong when they cut corners? This company needs to be avoided. They are overpriced and incompetent.

Hi Claire Thank you for your feedback. We apologise that there was an issue with the installation of the unvented hot water cylinder we installed. We install hundreds of these a year and this is the first time an issue has occurred resulting in damage to a property. Once we were made aware of the leak, we immediately attended and repaired it and did all we could to prevent any further damage. The insurance company has since repaired the damage, so the floor is back as it was. Again, we apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you. Our number one priority is customer satisfaction so we have used this incident to learn from and help prevent this from happening again. Please see our other reviews showing the positive work that we do. We hope this does not discourage you from using our services in future and we look forward to hopefully working with you again.

Sandhurst just refurbished our bathroom. The work was carried out to a high standard and completed within the time frame and budget we were given. We are delighted with the finished result. What made them really stand out from the crowd, though, was their excellent communication - keeping in regular contact, letting me know the schedule of the works and trades and sending regular photos and messages as the work was being carried out. I was away when the job was being done so was relieved and reassured to be kept informed of what was going on. All in all, it was a great job from start to finish.

Tony & his team at Sandhurst Plumbing became my regular plumbers from my rented London properties a couple of years ago. Since then I have never looked back. Their pricing is transparent & good value in terms of the excellent service consistently offered. Tony is always quick to respond, & takes the time to explain things & help me problem solve with the more complex jobs. Knowing that I have them to call upon makes managing two properties remotely much less stressful as I know that I am in good hands with plumbers that I can trust 100%. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Wedding ring down the bath plug!

My husband dropped his wedding ring in the shower and it went straight down the plug hole! We were obviously really upset and tried everything to get it out. When it was clear we wouldn't be able to do it we called Sandhurt who sent a lovely guy round very quickly who managed to retrieve the ring with no destruction to the bath and for a very reasonable price. Would 100% recommend.

I engaged in Sandhurst Plumbing to investigate problems tenants had reported with hot water. They sorted the problem out very quickly, dealt directly with the Tenants to schedule the appointment and kept me up to date via email. Problem sorted very quickly and charges explained and no shocks. Would use them again.
