We offer convenient one hour arrival slots to make things easy for you and all works are fully insured & guaranteed for 12 months.

Had a new combi boiler and radiator installed. The work was meant to take 2 days, but due to Covid-19 there was a slight delay with the delivery of the radiator, nevertheless, the work was professional, the technicians were super nice and they made sure the installation was just perfect. The added value of having this work done by nice and professional people is priceless.

Extremely happy with their service. From the start, they've been honest about the cost we will ensure, they always arrived on time with text and email reminders sent prior to their engineers arriving and always follow up after the job was completed to ensure everything is fine with us. We had our boiler replaced. The two engineers were really professional, punctual, polite and very understanding with our son's special needs who gets upset with strangers in the house. I highly recommend Scot Findlay for their extremely professional and reliable service.

Scott Findlay have just installed a new combi boiler for us. That involved removing the old boiler, the water tank and decommissioning the cold water tank. We also had several new radiators installed. The job took 4 days; the engineers arrived at the expected time every day and worked without stopping all the time they were here! They were professional, friendly and helpful and communicated well at all stages. The quote for the job was accurate and information from the office was thorough and helpful. The engineers were very conscious of making the disruption (they were working in every room in the house) as minimal as possible and of leaving the system in as workable a way as they could when they left each evening. They also cleaned up after their work, which was much appreciated! The end result is wonderful, the system works perfectly and we are very pleased. I would recommend Scott Findlay without hesitation.

We had an emergency boiler issue in the run up to Christmas as a result of the cold weather. I contacted Claire at Scott Findlay and she was able to arrange someone to come and look at it within 48 hours. Unfortunately we needed a new boiler but thanks to the SF team it was fitted within the week and whilst we were on holiday so we returned to a warm house and a great new boiler. The communication from start to finish has been excellent - with emails and texts to confirm the timing of the work and then completion of the work. The boiler was a like for like replacement which the SF team sourced for me late on a Friday evening. I would definitely recommend SF to anyone looking for prompt, courteous, quality workmanship and outstanding service.

With the lottery that is finding a reliable trader, especially for a major job as a full central heating replacement, it was a delight to find Scott Findlay and his team. We felt instantly comfortable with Scott from the moment he arrived to estimate the job. His team of Brian, David and Kevin did nor disappoint both in their standard of workmanship and their patience of answering questions and explaining the process. This firm were a joy to deal with, which in this day and age is very refreshing. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

Our boiler was due for replacement anyway, but it packed in totally during the waiting period so Claire pulled out all the stops to get a swap of dates with another customer - and succeeded. The installation itself was very thorough and professional - done by the book and we had the heating/hot water back on the first day. The engineers not only know their stuff and operate and clean up to a high standard but are very pleasant guys to have around. The communication is also very good and Scott answered all our queries about the new boiler over the phone. We would unhesitatingly recommend.

Simon and Kenny installed a new lpg boiler, radiators and two showers in a stone cottage, to upgrade us from electric storage heaters and showers. We’ve been putting the job off for a while, not wanting the disturbance, but the job was done quickly, Scott and Claire kept us up to date beforehand and during the works, and the guys did a great job, with very little mess and disturbance, given the size of the job (and the number of thick walls to get through!). The final installation is great;neat and tidy (and much much warmer!). Would definitely recommend.

I employed Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating to service my heating system, and to give an appraisal of the system as it had been fitted by a plumber who I now has botched the job. The engineer, Simon, worked very professionally and efficiently keeping the work area clean and tidy. I had a new boiler fitted in my top floor tenement flat by Scott Findlay Plumbing & Heating. I had shopped around, read reviews and got 2 other quotes. Replacing a boiler is a big purchase! I wanted to get it right and find a company that would do a great job, with the minimum of fuss and that I could trust! I'm pleased to say I made the right choice. Scott and the team were all very professional and efficient, unexpected issues (it's an old flat!) that cropped up were quickly resolved with minimum stress to me. I can't recommend them highly enough. Claire in the office also deserves a mention - great service. Thank you !
