Have used John Scott before, he has always done a 1st class job and promptly. He is very reliable and will source a product if necessary. Couldn't ask for a better service.

John spent several hours over 4-5 visits diagnosing and fixing my boiler which a previous gas engineer had failed to fix. He eventually identified that the previous guy had installed a faulty (and probably recycled, not new) part. He showed incredible patience and perseverance, was friendly, professional and helpful and clearly knew his stuff (esp when compared to the previous guy!). No hesitation in recommending.

Our central heating had an intermittent malfunction so we contacted John. After a very thorough investigation he identified the problem (which a previous engineer had failed to spot) and made a temporary fix so that the heating was working and came back the following morning to fit the new part that was needed. (this was 23rd and 24th Feb). Today he returned to carry out a service of the boiler which was painstaking and very thorough. This is the first time I have used him and he will now be my first choice for any future heating or plumbing issues that arise.

I've used John a number of times, for plumbing issues and boiler servicing, after he was recommended by a friend. He always does a great job and is very friendly, helpful and professional.

For the third successive year, my wife and I have chosen Scott Maintenance to service our Bosch boiler. John is a personable and extremely competent engineer, in whom which we have total faith in achieving quality work./ His pricing is fair and since employing him we have had no problems to report. Whilst I have not read the other reports of his work, I do feel he deserves a rating of 5 rather than 4.9.

Today, John from Scott Maintenance Services balanced and checked our radiators, topped up boiler pressure and vented our heating system. Previously he has sorted out leaking sink and fixed our heating system by installing a new pump (at the time, another heating engineer said we needed a whole new system which would have cost a fortune and involved knocking down walls). Every time, he has been prompt, efficient, courteous and professional. Cant recommend him highly enough.

As someone who has been around skilled craftsmen all my working life I think I am able to recognise a capable person. John Scott is totally trustworthy and reliable in all respects, charges a fair price, and is a perfect gentleman. I could not recommend him more highly.

John has been looking after our boiler for many years and has just completed the annual service. As always prompt to arrive, and extremely professional in carrying out his work. That's why we keep going back to him for regular services and any other issues when they arise. Unhesitatingly recommended.

We first encountered John in January 2017 when we had a massive water leak under our kitchen floor. The insurers' plumber dug up our floor to find the leak, and were responsible for putting right the damage caused, but were not responsible for fixing the leak itself. We were going to be left without water from Saturday until they came back the following week. I had to ring round local traders late on a Saturday afternoon and John said he would come out first thing Monday, as he had a family commitment on the Sunday. On Sunday morning he contacted me again to say that he could come on the Sunday but, in the event, the insurers' plumbers took pity on us and had done a temporary repair, so we said Monday morning would be fine. He turned up promptly on the Monday and fixed the leak. We were so impressed with him that, since then, he has serviced our boiler each year and dealt with any problems with our slightly ageing heating and hot water system. Any emergencies, and he will come out as soon as he can, and always at a reasonable price. We have recommended him to local friends.
