I like to support local businesses when I can, so it was SD Roofing that I contacted (via the Get a Free Quote option on their website) when a ridge tile was blown off of my garage roof during Storm Eunice. Acknowledgement of my enquiry was almost immediate, in the form of an email asking for some additional information so that Simon could give me an accurate quote. I received the quote before the end of the same day and the work was carried out the following morning. On the morning the work was carried out, Simon phoned me to tell me that he and his team would be arriving within the hour - which they did. The work site was left as tidy as they found it. Great communications from start to finish. I would have no hesitation in using SD Roofing again myself or recommending them to others. I can see why the company has received two Which? Trusted Trader awards!

Simon was polite and friendly throughout. He responded to all communication quickly and clearly. He offered a good price for his work and the quality appears to be good. We had a hole in our roof that was leaking water and of all the roofers I had to quote Simon was the one who I felt understood the impact on us and was keen to talk about helping us out as opposed to others who talked lots a out their schedules or the quality of their work vs others.

If only all trades persons were as efficient and competent as Simon. Very grateful to Simon for swiftly assessing and re-installing the flat roof on a new build that cow boy builders had completely bodged. It now looks perfect, drains beautifully and I no longer have to worry about the roof rotting! Cannot recommend Simon and his team highly enough.

High quality workmanship and we appreciated that careful consideration was given in blending the new EPDM rubber roof with the existing tiles and finishing with lead flashing. Simon came to look at the job the day I rang him and sent me a quote the same day. He came within 10 days of first visit and explained what he was doing and how long it would take. A neighbour who runs a local builders recommended Simon to fix an emergency leak. Subsequently, we used his firm to replace some cladding. On each occasion, the job was completed to our complete satisfaction so we asked him to quote for a long-overdue new garage roof, including removal and safe disposal of the existing asbestos sheets. From getting the competitive quote through to tidying up afterward all went without a hitch and a job we had dreaded having done was completed in quick time and without any drama. He and his equally helpful mate even had time to fix a leaking gutter at no extra charge! As a householder, it's exactly what you want. Trustworthy, responsive, keen pricing, excellent customer skills.

SD roofing came and gave an estimate for a flat roof replacement and a timescale. Bad weather delayed this and he advised me of a revised time for the work. When he arrived to carry out the work, upon further investigation he advised that he felt a repair was sufficient to prevent the water ingress. They were both very helpful and supportive of my issue. The bill arrived and he had reduced the cost accordingly because of the reduction of work that was carried out. I would recommend the company to any other people who might need repairs as I felt they were very honest with the work that was required and the costing.

We contacted Simon and agreed a fully insulated roof with EPDM, rubber membrane surface, new facias and gutters and plasterboard inside, all plastered. Simon kept regularly in touch so that we could aim for dates that coincided with dry weather. He and his team arrived and carried out the work precisely on the agreed days and to the agreed specification and budget. Their work cannot be faulted and we are delighted with the finished article and cannot praise Simon and his team highly enough.
