Senior Stairlifts Ltd

Darren fitted my Dads stairlift yesterday Darren was very polite and explained everything about how to use stairlift in a patient calm manner. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend this company. They were very quick and efficient when fitting the stairlift and did a fantastic job.Everything was completed to a high standard, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. Really pleased with the service from start to finish. Thank you!

We had two stairlifts fitted by Senior Stairlifts, and unfortunately our experience with the company, particularly their aftercare service, has been extremely disappointing. When you purchase something as important as a stairlift, you expect to have confidence that the company will be there to support you if something goes wrong. Sadly, this has not been our experience. The level of aftercare and customer service we have received has been very poor and has caused us a great deal of unnecessary frustration. Based on our personal experience, I would not recommend Senior Stairlifts. Once the stairlifts were fitted, the standard of service and support we expected simply wasn’t there.

These people are very poor at staffing and dispute resolution. They sent someone to the property, and he took 4 hours to do nothing, eventually taking away a perfectly good stairlift chair, in working order, after claiming there was a "fault". No fault existed. No testing or diagnosing of the chair was ever done. The chair was disposed of without permission of the owners. An unsuitable replacement was fitted and immediately rejected. After many months of threatening legal action, SSL sourced an identical replacement chair and installed it. It did not work. A new part was ordered, and eventually a working chair was reinstalled. This whole process took about 3 months. During that time, SSL had agreed to refund the money paid because SSL completely missed the issue which was not the chair itself, but a slightly protruding pin (we're talking millimetres) which was causing the chair to jerk as it moved. Once the pin was tapped in, the chair moved fine. SSL missed this and subjected the disabled homeowner to months of mistreatment. Once the replacement chair issue was resolved, SSL stopped taking phone calls and replying to emails. No refund has been issued. I have every email saved and will publish them online. I would not recommend using this company. SSL points to their Which? rating to induce people to use them, but then fail to deliver on their promises. Despite what anyone else tells you, please do not use SSL. You will never ever get your money back from them.

Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Fitting was done well and demonstrated all features. Great job, would definitely recommend. Good value.

I had Jordan come and install my stairlift. Im very happy with the work. He did a very neat and tidy job. I would highly recommend Senior Stairlifts.

Reece was fantastic, he did a great job and was clean and tidy Great service from start to finish to finish

Arron called today to fit My Stairlift not only was he punctual, but his work was very tidy and quick, and he had it fitted in two hours. Aaron was very informative about how and easy to understand the instructions on how to operate the chair and the best way to extend the warranty, so I am now looking forward to using chair. So to sum it all up, I am totally happy with Senior Stairlift and will recommend it to my Senior friends.

I am really pleased with my new stairlift. Reece and Ollie have done an outstanding job of the installation and commissioning of the stairlift. Also they have treated my house with respect, they were most diligent, clean working! Thanks again, Senior Stairlift

Ollie was brilliant. He fitted the stair lift. Even had to adapt it as the surveyor had measured wrong. Ollie explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. Very polite.

Great job by Reece and Ollie. They were very well-mannered and took the time to show me how it works and left the place nice and tidy thanks again guys

Ollie was on time, efficient, and understanding, and did a great job fitting the starlit. They were flexible on payments and had good communication.

Dan and Jonny came to fit the stairlift on 21st July very professional Tradesmen neat and very tidy couldn't tell they had been in the house so tidy I would recommend them to everybody. I would give them 100 percent but it's not enough I think it's should be 110 percent plus thank you very much.

Dougie was an excellent professional engineer who was very compassionate, who fixed my lift without any problem, would like to thank him very much for all his help

Superb service from Senior Stairlifts Dan , engineer was reassuring, respectful and kind. As a wheelchair user trapped upstairs by broken stair lift I appreciated his efficiency and trustworthiness. Dan kept me informed of his progress and fixed the problem. Katie in the office was also excellent, went out of her way to get my lift fixed on the same day. Highly recommend this company

Reece was fantastic and did a great job I'm really happy with my new stairlift and will recommend senior to my friends thank you for all your help

Very helpful on the phone when existing stairlift stopped working. Agreed to have old one removed, new one fitted. Ollie phoned to let us know when he would be with us. He was a friendly, efficient technician. Ollie removed our old lift and fitted a reconditioned one, working quickly and skilfully, then cleaning up.

Really brilliant. Excellent in every way - installation and finished work. Reece is a great worker and person. Thank you so much

Aaron recommended a reconditioned stairlift because parts to repair my existing one are no longer available. He quickly and efficiently removed the existing stairlift and dealt with the paperwork for the new installation. Aaron has a charming manner and it was a pleasure chatting with him while doing the paperwork. I look forward to having the replacement stairlift fitted by the company whose high standards Aaron represents.

Called Senior Stairlifts since my dad's had broken down. The engineers (Ollie & Dan) arrived on time and rectified the problem in good time. Would highly recommend!
