Saw 'Prestige Plumbers' advert in 'the Directory' and was reminded that we used them for a plumbing problem before and were happy to use them again. Sharon is the friendly voice on the phone to whom I explained our bathroom shower was uncomfortably hot despite being set to its coolest position. My phone call was on a Friday afternoon and she arranged for Michael to come and assess the problem on the following Monday afternoon. It was the thermostatic cartridge, but neither the shower nor the manual we had named the shower manufacturer. Michael took a photo and sent it to their supplier. He praised their supplier for being good at identifying these parts, which indeed they were. Sharon sent us the estimate, which we agreed to as we were really happy that there hadn't been any holdups/issues in identifying and supplying the part. Sharon promised they would come out the same day they received the part to fit it. As promised they phoned through to see if that afternoon was convenient to come and fit the part. Michael and colleague, James, turned up and fitted the part quite quickly, despite lack of familiarity with the position of shut-off valves, etc. It's important to say that they wore face masks throughout, as did I, to reciprocate the thoughtfulness (COVID protection for all of us). The bathroom/shower was left tidy. Happy with the speed, friendly and no-nonsense approach. Job done and cost as per estimate. We even got a discount for being senior citizens!

Phoned approx 9:30am on Monday Morning with a problem with my water tank. Someone was out with me by 10am. Diagnosed and explained and the problem and provided the price for the work upfront. Completed the work and then talked through what had been fixed and gave some advice on how to potentially avoid or diagnose the problem in the future. Excellent.

Excellent company. Helpful on initial call and was able to give a guide on price and made arrangements for visit the following day. Fitted around my work arrangements and agreed to come between 8 and 9am. Turned up on time, did job within 40 mins, lovely and friendly, and cost was within quote. Wore a mask the entire time. As a single woman I can sometimes feel uncomfortable with people in my house but I have absolutely no hesitation recommending them. 100% professional. Thank you.

I 'phoned at 8.45 this morning and was 'phoned back a few minutes later. Explained the problem was a leaking kitchen tap. The lady told me Jamie would call between 9 am to noon. He arrived at 9.30. Told me a new tap and a valve for the washing machine was required. He told me the price including VAT and I agreed to have the work done. He completed the job by 10 am. Told me there was a 12 month guarantee and if there was any problem to let the company know. I found him to be very pleasant, helpful and told me exactly what he was doing.

I rang Prestige Plumbers at 10-00 am Friday and was booked for the plumber to call me that afternoon. Jammie was here at 2-00pm and carried out a brilliant job of repairing a leaking pipe. all I can say is friendly service and efficient work Jammie was a diamond plumber. would recommend these to anyone. Locate main stopcock

Checked main stopcock was working. Advice on slight change to enable easy access. Replaced stopcock under the sink and replaced outside tap. Checked upstairs as to possible leak - advised ok. Suggested replacing kitchen tap which was leaking. Left water turned off. I will make a decision as to the new tap when I have decided whether to sell or rent the house out. Very happy with service. Jamie.
