Came round to assess a small leak through the ceiling under flat roof. Checked it out, was just a blocked drain and problem with flashings. Simply sorted, flat roof ok, shouldn't have the problem again, no charge.

Simon has now done 3 jobs for me - work on dry verges and replacement of a flat roof. He's also done a major roofing repair for a friend at my recommendation, and we've both found him to be excellent. He is professional, his quotes are perfectly reasonable, he always phones to confirm a definite start date and turns up on schedule. Very pleased.

Our early 1970s house needed some corrective work on the roof. This included replacement of timbers and battens at both gable ends (and all related tasks), removal of two redundant flue pipes, cross-bracing of inner roof timbers, resetting ridge tiles and tidying up the hanging tiles on the house front. Simon was recommended by a surveyor. He came promptly and provided a very reasonable quotation, but more important, it was clear to us from speaking to him that he was competent and professional. Simon and his two colleagues came at the agreed time and the work was carried out on schedule and within the agreed cost. There was minimal disruption as far as we were concerned and the worksite was kept ÔøΩ and left ÔøΩ very neat and tidy. Simon and his team were friendly and considerate throughout. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Simon. In fact we have already recommended him several times. As a result, he carried out work for our daughter who lives nearby (removing redundant chimney stack) and for a close neighbour (curing a stubborn and persistent leak). In both cases they were very pleased with the recommendation and with the outcome.
