Smart Heating Edinburgh provides installation and maintenance services for boilers, central heating systems and domestic gas appliances.

As Gold Worcester-Bosch Accredited Installers we will work with you to design a system using the latest and most efficient boilers on the market, we are fully versed in the latest Smart Technologies and heating controls.

The business is operated by 2 highly skilled engineers with over 30 years combined experience in the industry.

My elderly boiler broke down, again. Having had Smart Heating recommended to me by a colleague, I asked them to help. Despite the coronavirus lockdown, Mark came round, and persuaded me (without difficulty) that, given the difficulty of sourcing spare parts at this time, the best solution would be a new boiler. He sent me an estimate that same day, and three days later he and David were back to complete the installation, all in one day. I am very pleased with the service provided, and shall not hesitate to use Smart Heating again.

Replacement of old boiler for a new one.

This is the third time I have used David and Mark over the past 3 years. They came and fitted a MagnaClean device alongside my old boiler, excellent results from that, they then fitted a new central heating system to my daughter's flat three floors up and finally carried out fitting a new boiler and dealt with renewing pipes and giving my system a service using the MagnaClean device in my own home yesterday. They are efficient, professional, courteous and very tidy and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to friends and family and last but not least, they explained all about the paperwork and safety checks. Money well spent, thanks guys.

David and Mark are professional, efficient and thorough. They quickly installed a Worcester-Bosch boiler at a fair price (I got quotes from several companies). They also accommodated my request to install a Nest thermostat rather than the Hive model. Moreover, I believe all my questions were answered honestly and with consideration. I would strongly recommend Smart Heating to anyone who needs to replace their boiler.

David & Mark did an excellent job for us. This involved replacing an unreliable Keston boiler with a Worcester-Bosch 40kw 8000 Life Boiler and upgrading existing pipework. The work was done efficiently & with minimum disruption. Although some additional work was required to ensure the 10 year manufacturer parts & labour guarantee was effective this was done quickly & at minimum cost & inconvenience to ourselves. We would not hesitate to recommend David & Mark.

Central Heating boiler replacement. All work was done according to the details in the quote. Mark also installed a new HIVE system and flushed the radiators. Mark arrived on time. The work was completed to a very high standard. Mark ensured the place was cleared after the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent company to anyone. I will be using this company for my annual boiler service in the future.

Smart Heating recently renewed my Central Heating boiler . They also flushed out my radiators and installed a Hive system. David and Mark are extremely talented and experienced engineers.They produced a detailed quote and completed the work according to plan.They arrived on time,having called to say they were on their way,were polite,tidy and hard working. The work was completed efficiently and they took time to explain the system and reassure me that I could get in touch if I needed any further help. David and Mark gave an excellent service replacing and relocating a boiler. They were professional in all aspects of their work from the original quote to carrying out the work and finishing on time. They we’re exceptionally tidy, clearing up as they went along. They spent time explaining what they were doing, how the system worked and ensuring the work was to our specifications. We would definitely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate in using them again.

Mark and David fitted a new boiler and new column radiators in my tenement flat. They always arrived on time, were friendly, made sure to explain things (e.g., when a new radiator pipe couldn't be fitted exactly where we had discussed due to a hidden hearth, and how to work the Hive app), completed the job on time and left everything clean and tidy when they finished. Really pleased with the work and I would highly recommend them.

Our ancient boiler finally gave up the ghost and needed replacing urgently. David and Mark gave us a fixed quote, arrived exactly when they said they would, and finished the job exactly on time. They were both friendly and courteous at all times, worked unobtrusively and didn't leave any mess at all. David explained our replacement options thoroughly beforehand, making sure we got exactly what we wanted but didn't sign up for anything that was unnecessary, and the new heating controls (via an app on our phones) were thoroughly and clearly explained by Mark. In summary they did an excellent job and I could not fault them in any way. Thoroughly recommended!! PS Please ensure you have teabags in your house - a couple of cups of tea is the very least they deserve :-)
