Shaun at Southwood Roofing called me back within minutes of my phone message. He arrived the same day to inspect the roof and had a team around within 24 hours to repair a small hole. I was really impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail and his responsiveness. I would absolutely recommend Southwood Roofing.

I've left three messages, completed a form on your website and emailed Shaun directly but no response. Ever since our roof was done we have had a small leak over the gable. Barry and Paul have tried to resolve it several times but it's still there when it's rained hard. We were initially pleased with our re-roof but this leak issue, and the fact no one is returning my calls and other contact methods, means I cannot leave a good review at the moment. I'll be happy to leave a good review if someone would resolve our leak.

Southwood Roofing have done several jobs for me in recent years and they have always provided a fantastic service. Shaun and his team (Paul and Barry carried out the latest work) are experts at diagnosing and resolving roofing problems and carry out repairs quickly and cost-effectively. After heavy rain we noticed water coming through our extension via the lanterns. After our call to Shaun, he and his team immediately responded and came to our rescue. Shaun responded promptly to an urgent request for a full roof replacement before the end of the year. With a very competitive price, work started in October and was finished on time. They took care to retain and replace original roof ornaments, and did not charge for unforeseen extras. Shaun and his team were fantastic. I called Shaun over the weekend and he responded immediately and sent his great team round on very short notice, fitting me in around other jobs. His team were really polite, friendly and made it easy to ask questions. They were tidy and extremely professional. They showed me the problem with my roof and also explained what they had done and took pictures. Very good value and such a relief to have a watertight roof. Shaun came out within hrs after my call to check our roof which was in a dangerous condition with masonry and tiles about to fall. He immediately called a team out to make the roof safe, then organised scaffolding and the roof was fully repaired within days. During a night of heavy rain heard water dripping into the loft. Woke to see a missing roof tile at the back of house. Sent Southward UK an email and Shaun responded within 10mins and sent a team round to replace the tile the same day knowing we were expecting more rain. After my enquiry to repair missing tiles, Shaun came the same day in torrential rain, assessed the problem, gave a very reasonable quote and promised to do the job at least by the following Saturday. In fact he came two days later, Thursday, sorted the task in double quick time. I asked him to assess our flat roof, and he confirmed all was well except the felt on a skylight should be raised higher. His guys arrived the following morning at about 8pm because he had consulted the forecast and anticipated rain. They were excellent and did a great job. They cleared up and left within 45 mins. and were cheerful and professional throughout. On the basis of these experiences, we would have no hesitation in entrusting Shaun and his colleagues with any future roofing jobs we might have. Great company.

Used this company to inspect what had caused a huge leak in my front room. Shaun arrived on time, and found the problem immediately. Blocked drains above the flat bay window. He cleaned these out for me straight away, sealed up a few cracks, and took photos to show me as it was to high up for me to see. I'd highly recommend him. Lovely, honest man who takes pride in his work! Will use again!

Following particularly bad weather our roof sprung a leak. Shaun responded promptly to my phone call, As the leak had subsided as the weather calmed down, I made an appointment for the roof to be inspected the next day Shaun arrived promptly at the given time. He was polite considerate and even took his shoes off when he went upstairs. He took photographs of the problem and showed them to us explaining where he thought the leak would be coming from. Shaun laid out a number of repair/replacement options and helped us to decide on the most suitable remedy for our situation. The roof was repaired within an hour and we were shown photographs of the repair work. He even undertook some extra little bits that were not in the quote. Everything was cleared away and we were left not even knowing he had been. A very pleasant and professional service and very good value for money.

I used Southwood (UK) Roofing in 2012 to resolve my flat roof issues. They applied a membrane called the Evolution System which (and I quote) "supply and fit a new 4.55mm Evolution single layer high performance Europolymar felt system to all areas of flat roofs....." The job was done brilliantly by Shaun Ingram who provided photos of the completed work (I could not get up on the loft roof). He and his team were polite efficient and professional. A charming man. Since which time we have not had problems but with the drying out etc we have had a tiny amount of staining. After 4 years I chatted to him about it and he came back immediately (it is covered by a 15 year guarantee) and identified a tiny area where maybe squirrels had lifted a corner of the felt system. He fixed it (and another unrelated problem), took no money and generally reassured me about there being some good guys out there - brilliant and thank you. Happy with the work both in terms of the advice given, the quote and execution. Shaun and his team clearly take pride in their work and it shows. Would use again and recommend. The only improvement could be in the communication, hence 3 star for customer service. Although I got in touch with Southwood Roofing a few days before the estimated date for the start the work, they did not get back to me in good time to confirm which was awkward. Otherwise, efficient and helpful.

I called and they came within one hour. Within minutes they identified the problem which was from my neighbours property. When Shaun arrived, he assessed the problem (including the one on our very high rooftop) then gave an incredibly honest and clear explanation of the work needed - he then offered an incredibly reasonable rate. (In fact we even offered him a bit more but he refused to accept it, saying the job was just not so costly!). Shaun and his team are really professional guys and it was so clear to us they know the roofing profession inside out and work with passion and pride. What came across really strongly is that they just want to do a quality piece of work and make sure your roof is all in tact and just as it should be. Brilliant (on top of being really nice people). They even turned up out of the blue this morning to check and finish one last thing. Ps.. It has rained for hours tonight and thanks to Southwood our ceilings are warm and dry, unlike last week. A small problem on my lower roof had me googling Which Local & up popped this company! Shaun was a really nice guy & gave me confidence that the job would be sorted. He arrived really promptly & his team set to work! Repairs were done quickly & efficiently & I was pleased with the price. The refusal of tea was a surprise as most workmen need that to operate but Shaun wanted to get on to other jobs! I would definitely use this company again & would highly recommend them.

Had Southwood visit to discuss various issues with my gutters. Shaun was prompt, efficient, courteous and not pushy. Rather than launching into a quote for radical changes he did the best he could for a reasonable charge to fix the immediate issues. He then discussed other shortcomings (that I know about) in a sensible manner but left it my hands to evaluate the effect of today's work and to call him again as and when I feel the need. Very pleased with service provided.

Shaun was so very helpful and courteous. I feel he went beyond the call of duty when we had a problem with a leak. He came very quickly to take advantage of scaffolding we already had up and was able to identify and fix the problem at once, keeping me informed and sending me before & after pictures.
