Stoake is a wood burning stove shop in London, England. We stock a wide range of quality wood burners including Charnwood, Jotul, Stovax, Rais and Scan.
As well as selling stoves we also provide high quality wood stove installation services in-house. We specialise in ecodesign and Defra approved wood stoves, HETAS compliant installations, complex twin wall flue systems and boiler stoves for wood fired central heating.
We also install a range of other renewable energy technologies and can offer comprehensive renewable heat and power systems. We can take Victorian terraces entirely off-grid.

We decided to get a log burner fire in place of the gas fire we had. We visited Stoake in late April 2022 and the work has been finished within the month. they take care of everything, from sweeping the chimney, recommending scaffolders which were need to install the flue for the chimney, informing building regulations. A really perfect job - i can’t recommend them more highly.

I had a Charnwood 5 fitted and it is lovely, looks good and brings real warmth to my living room. Stoake did a great job - from my first tentative enquiry in the showroom to the final instructions on how to use the stove -very efficient, did exactly what they said they would and kept to time and quote. I can recommend Stoake Ltd to any one considering the purchase and installation of a wood burning stove. Their office staff understood our concerns about a wood stove, arranged for their representative to call at a mutually convenient time to check the possibilities, and followed up to ensure the timing of the visit worked. Their representative noted the limitations of the fireplace and proposed a solution which worked perfectly. My wife and I are very happy with Stoake's recommendation. The installation was carried out skillfully and with good humour, coordinated as for the survey, with efficiency by the office staff. The work was completed to the agreed budget and to the agreed schedule. The team work of the Stoake staff made the whole exercise a pleasure and we now are enjoying the stove.

What work did they do? Install a Charnwood C4 wood burning stove Was it done to the agreed schedule and budget? Yes. Pawel, Andreas and team were punctual and completed the work as scheduled. What made the trader stand out? Very professional, polite and thorough. Team focused on the climate implications of the burner and how to reduce them. Good communications and all questions asked were answered promptly. If something went wrong, was it resolved satisfactorily? Yes, the team discovered the chimney was too narrow but discussed this with me and we agreed a plan. Andreas managed to minimise any damage. I would thoroughly recommend the company. Very happy with the installation.

Stoake Ltd did a fantastic job of installing a new wood-burning stove in our sitting room. They could not have been more helpful, or more efficient. Every detail was worked out in advance, communication was excellent, prices were exactly as specified, and the work was carried out by very good craftsmen. Stoake really knows what they are doing, and are completely trustworthy. The best company by far that I contacted re woodburning stoves, and highly recommended.

Very impressed with all the work carried out on all three visits from Stoakes company. First to discuss type of stove, second to prepare the fireplace, and third for cleaning the chimney, fitting the flue and Charnwood wood burning stove. On all three occasions, Nigel Wojtek, Andreas and Archie worked tirelessly and with minimum disruption and to a very high standard, and kept me informed with progress and all the necessary information needed to be a responsible Wood Stove owner. Am thrilled with the result. The transformation to my garden room, both heat wise and aesthetically is beyond expectation. Thankyou Stoakes!

A really great company - I would strongly recommend Stoake to anybody looking for a Stove/Log burner. Rarely have I found a supplier /fitter business that is so efficient, knowledgeable and true to their word. I don't really do reviews but in this case here is an exception as they were brilliant. From their site visit to the installation, they have been excellent and I could not fault them at all. I also though they were good value and they clearly know their stuff well. Very eco-aware, so if sustainability is your thing these guys have it as a priority in respect of the products they sell. I was super impressed with every part of their service and would highly recommend them.

Really impressed with the whole experience from the Stoake team. Initial consultation very detailed going through all the options and finishes available to us. Installers really friendly and helpful, very focused on achieving the best finish and also keep house disruption/ mess to a minimum. Went through really useful sign off on how to use the wood burner/ best lighting methods at the end. Have absolutely loved the finish and choices we made, installation / refurb of old gas fireplace has been brilliant. Wish we had done it sooner! Seemless service from the beginning from this local company. Fantastic!

We recently bought a wood burning stove (Charnwoode Aire 5) and had it installed by them including the install of a metal flue and new chimney pot. From the outset Stoake were great to deal with, Nye, came over to assess/quote and was really informative and knowledgeable and quashed any hesitation I had in regards to my environmental worries about emissions. When the day of our install came Andreas and Theo arrived promptly and were a pleasure to deal with throughout the day. They were receptive and informative to my questions and really tidy. Once finished Andreas, lit the stove and gave us a quick tutorial in how to tend to the fire for the most efficient and clean burn, which was really good. We’re really pleased with the log burner it looks great and has made our cold living room much more enjoyable to spend the evening in.
