I have 16 years experience in the heating industry and provide my clients with highest quality of service and professionalism.
I believe every customer and their home is unique. I approach every job with an open mind and tailor my recommendations as to what is best for them and their home aiming to provide the highest levels of energy efficient and comfort.
I am passionate about protecting the environment and everything I can personally do to reduce my carbon footprint. This carries through to my business and the advise I give my clients helping to both reduce carbon emissions and make energy savings.

I employed Jacob for installing a Vaillant EcoTEC Pure 425. Connected to this install have been regular yearly gas safety checks and boiler servicing. Increasingly Jacob is impossible to contact and never returns calls. This has left me in a really poor situation with a boiler requiring a service and an expired safety certificate. I tried to contact Jacob over a period of time via phone, email, SMS and What'sApp and have been completely ignored. During the same period that I have tried to contact him he has been updating his Twitter feed so this feels completely unprofessional and I feel utterly let down by this tradesman. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

last year I was looking for someone to install underfloor heating downstairs, so I came to this website. We were having a new kitchen and going open plan. I had been toying with the idea of having an ASHP (Air source heat pump) as our boiler needs to be replaced. Jacob did a full energy assessment, installed the ASHP and did underfloor heating upstairs and down, as well as installing other renewables. We had problems with the level of the floor, Jacob managed to help steer us through these issues. We are very happy with the service we received, which we felt was over and above. We would recommend him for the quality of his work, knowledge and service provided. In fact, he is about to do some more work at our house, related to renewables. Aftercare is ongoing as the ASHP will need servicing and tweaked according to the weather if any issues have arisen Jacob has been prompt to respond. I would have no worries in recommending him to friends and family.

We asked Jacob for advice re. our 21 year old failing gas boiler and what options were available. For specific reasons we decide to replace with a new gas boiler. Jacob gave a clear quotation, arrived on the date agreed and completed the work in the two days specified in his quotation. He also very kindly installed a replacement radiator! Extremely neat and tidy, as well as patient in explaining everything necessary.

Jacob services our boiler on an annual basis but our first meeting came via a recommendation from the previous owners of our house and a worryingly noisy and leaky boiler! Jacob came out to us asap, resolving the immediate issue. He noted another part could also need replacing, but rather than adding this to our current bill as our service was due 2 months later and would afford better access to this area, he checked-in with us pre-service, ordered the part and installed this on his next visit, therefore saving us money. He is not only reliable, punctual and honest as the day is long, he is always helpful, ready with advice and exceptionally responsive. A true professional, he's a rare find.

I contacted Jacob after reading the reviews on this site when our heating and hot water stopped working. He got back to me very quickly and arranged to come and fix the broken pump just a day or so later, which was ideal. He recommended a pump that was actually less expensive but had a longer guarantee than a like for like replacement. We were really happy with his work. He was friendly and polite, neat and tidy, efficient and knowledgeable. Most importantly our heating and hot water is now back up and running! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jacob and we will be contacting him again for future plumbing work.

Jacob recommended and installed a high efficiency boiler 3 years ago which has certainly achieved what he predicted in economy and reliability. His workmanship is excellent and his explanation of how things operate is second to none. He has serviced the boiler every year since but still has time for his client explaining what he is going to do. Jacob recently carried out a survey on the gas and central heating system in a property we are purchasing and produced a detailed report that highlighted deficiencies that will need addressing to improve the system but also assured us that there was nothing dangerous or needed immediate work. Overall Jacob is a very efficient worker, he has a wide range of experience and expertise in his profession and finally his costs are good value.
