At Surrey Hills Removals we are proud to have built our reputation on care and flexibility. Whether we're handling a Steinway grand piano or a box of dog-eared, but much-loved toys - we appreciate that each item we move, however small, is important to you, so they're important to us.

Together with our sister company Manns Removals, we have evolved from a single liveried horse drawn carriage, into the modern company we run today. We undertake domestic, commercial and international removals and have our own 20,000 sq ft state-of-the-art storage facility, providing clean, dry, safe, containerised storage.

Every team member was competent, completely professional, efficient, helpful and pleasant from start to finish. A home visit was performed first, and an accurate assessment of the size of job and cost was made, within less than 24hrs. There was no hidden extra fee at the end. Job was performed and completed exactly as planned at the outset. Moving house can be very stressful - The movers were not only very helpful with some tips and advice to make things easier, they were also very patient and considerate. Could not recommend the team and service more highly.

The removal men were very quick, careful, helpful and cheerful - we would definitely choose Surrey Hills again if we ever moved - which we hope won’t be for a very long time, however!

From the very first call into Surrey Hills Removals I felt comfortable and they proved me right! They were extremely helpful and gave excellent advice without over selling the package. The move was done over two days and the team worked tirelessly on two of the hottest days this year. The team were at all times polite and professional. After the move Surrey Hills management team checked everything had gone to plan and collected all the packing materials and boxes. Highly recommended

Moving is very daunting but Surrey Hills Movers made it so much less so! They were very helpful, packed everything extremely carefully and were excellent on communication so I knew exactly when they would be at my house, how much information they needed and what furniture they could leave me with (we moved on a Monday so had a virtually empty house over the weekend). The moving day went very smoothly, they had 2 days to unpack the lorries and pallets, they were as quick as we could have hoped and very generous with their time. They had no problem moving any furniture we had decided was in the wrong place and they certainly did a better job of putting all the furniture back together than we would have done. I'd definitely recommend them, fantastic experience.

Fantastic team. Totally stress free. We were slightly delayed in getting the keys released to our new home. The team from Surrey Hills were calm and patient, then fired into action as soon as we got in.

Unreliable. Terrible customer service.
Called Surrey Hills Removals as they had moved me before. Told they were very busy and it would take 2 weeks for survey and quote. I Booked survey for quote regardless as I had used them before. They told me they had penciled in my move date. I had to call to remind them that they were due to survey my move as they were late to arrive and had basically forgot. I was then told that even if they came to survey they couldn’t move me on the day required. All this after waiting 2 weeks. Moronic approach to business and customer relations.

I am sorry that we were unable to help this time. I know you had moved with us several years ago, and you were coming back to us because of it. At the time of your call we had availability for your preferred date, but that changed with the high number of bookings that came in. We did offer alternative dates, however these were not suitable. I understand your frustration, but we do not pencil/book dates, until we have visited and provided a written quotation. I can only apologise if you felt mislead, it was certainly not our intention.

Surrey Hills Removals service was excellent. I had to postpone last minute the booking due to illness which they agreed to do without penalty fee. The team on the day were friendly and efficient, did a good job of protecting my furniture during transport and caused no damage to fixtures/fittings or paintwork when bringing my cargo indoors. They were diligent about protecting also my new carpets. I would happily use their services again and recommend them to anyone.

We went for the packing and removal service. We had a great moving experience-the guys were efficient, friendly and tidy-we didn’t lift a finger. Everything was packed well, and properly labeled with no breakages/damage to the property or the house and boxes put into the correct rooms in the new house. Would highly recommend-stress free experience!

Surrey Hill’s weren’t the cheapest quote but they were the only firm to make a personal visit to supply a quote, and unprompted, guaranteed the work wouldn’t be outsourced. Grant ran both the packing day and moving day smoothly and efficiently. The team were cheerful and efficient and packed and moved our things with no damage. I have no hesitation in recommending Surrey Hills.
