Highly recommend Surrey Hills Removals. Extremely punctual, polite, very tidy and super helpful given I was doing this move on my own. They were all very organised. From the moment I had a house visit to assess my needs I could feel I was in very safe hands. I had a piano and an antique music cabinet which required delicate handling. I didn't worry at all as they have all the kit and really know their job. Big thanks to Michael, Cleveland and Lewis. So professional, kind, efficient, good humoured and friendly considering I was quite emotional about it all. They are fab! It was like having brothers help me move. I was so happy they all had to have a hug from me!!!

We moved from Ascot in Berkshire to the Chichester area on 2nd July 2025. After doing a lot of research and getting 3 different quotes we decided to do with Surrey Hills removals. The quotation process was thorough and they actually came a 2nd time to re-quote as we has disposed of a number of items, meaning the quotation was reduced, thank you. This was the 1st time we had moved in 18 years having brought our 3 daughters up in Ascot, so as you can imagine we had a lot of stuff! Lee, Matt & Adam, were with us throughout the packing up process and the move in. I cannot praise them highly enough. They were very professional and gave us lots of advice throughout our move. They really made a stressful time for us, a lot better than you could imagine. Surrey Hill Removals you are absolutely first class and I could't recommend you highly enough. We’ve moved 4 times in the last 3 years. I’ve never re-used a removal company as they were such a disappointment, however upon using SH e we will absolutely be using when we move again. They were brilliant from start to finish. Professional, friendly, followed instructions and went advice being to make sure we were happy. Very pleased.

I got in touch with Alan at Surrey Hills Removals a few weeks ago to arrange a removal service for our property sale. From the start, the company was extremely professional and consultative with Mark attending to survey. We were immediately put at ease from that point. From initial quote through to booking, packing and final delivery of our contents, the Surrey Hills Removal team were extremely professional. One team member even took the time to visit the new property to check sufficient site access for their large vehicles. The contents were packed with care and delivered safely with no damage, by a cheerful team of lads. I hope I kept them sufficiently supplied with tea and coffee during their time with us! I can't speak highly enough of Surrey Hills Removals, they helped me move into my new home and were a fantastic support. They initially came to quote and were very personable and polite and came up with good suggestions. They managed the move very well and over a number of days, packing up and yet allowing us enough essentials to stay overnight. The team were friendly and worked really hard to get me set up in the new house and take the stress away. It was worth every penny to help move smoothly. It's a very stressful time and it really helps to have a removal firm who can do the heavy lifting and have experience.

It was an absolute delight dealing with Surrey Hills Removal Company. From Nick who did the original quote through to the depot organisation (Alan) and finally the move itself. Due to problems with our house sale, We needed to find removers at very short notice. Surrey Hills responded immediately to my email request, accommodated us with only a week’s notice and delivered packing boxes to us the same day. Being very experienced (almost serialist!) home movers, we can honestly say this was one of the best experiences in, as aforementioned, our 16th house move in 40 years! From the outset, with the courteous and informative home visit, followed by the swift quotes and then the flexibility with “are we moving directly or going in to storage” situation, which went right up to the wire, and they were still able to accommodate us, up to the actual moving out into storage and then moving in a month later, everything went very smoothly. The phone calls to the office team that I made were all dealt with swiftly. The team of removal guys we had for both moves, were all very good and respected our house/s, and got the job done. Having moved a fair few times, including internationally, I can say with confidence that this move was the smoothest and least stressful experience I have ever had. In a less-than-ideal situation, we exchanged contracts, completed our sale & purchase and moved all on one day, two days after the Surrey Hills team of Grant, Josh and Sam, began loading. They were very hard-working, cheerful, accommodating and extremely helpful over the three days that they helped us move. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very philosophical about the prospect of unloading our contents into a container and putting them into storage at absolutely no notice. Luckily this did not need to happen. The admin team at HQ were just as helpful as the team doing the heavy lifting and we cannot recommend this company too highly.

We were a little apprehensive about whether or not the slight premium in fees was going to be worth it but I can happily say we couldn't be more pleased. Moving is always going to be a stressful and tiring process but choosing the right moving company can go a long way towards reducing this and was very much the case for us with Surrey Hills Removals. Ahead of time sending a generous amount of boxes (we opted to pack things ourselves) and super organised across the two days in what felt as smooth a moving process as you could hope for. Special call out to Dave and Kevin - nothing fazed them and I appreciated the care and attention they gave every aspect of the move. We will certainly be using them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Professional from start to finish. Easy to arrange a visit for a quote, and good information ahead of time about the move itself. The team on the moving days were great - whirlwinds of efficiency but also very accommodating of me working from home and my daughter “helping” to pack toys. We dont move house that often, our last was 12 years ago. I picked Surrey Hills from a positive statement from a neighbour that had used them. I only went to one removal co, and as moving house is stressful enough, wasn't prepared to compromise, and I was right. They were extremely good with working to our completion dates that changed like the wind, and prior to the move say, Dave thier chargehand and packer was a star, and couldn't do enough to help. On teh day all of the chaps were extremely polite and helpful. The whole thing was extremely well executed and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Dont scrimp on fees, you simply need this to happen like clockwork, and for us, it did.

Really great experience from quote through to box pick up. Very straight forward, no hidden charges, the team kept in touch while we played the waiting game on dates, but didn't hassle. And then, the move. What a great bunch of guys. Worked really hard, communicated expectations well, brilliant with the dog :-) Felt like a service plus. They didn't just move us, but when we realised a couple of bits of furniture were in the wrong place, they were happy to move them. They didn't grumble about the rain or the horrible hill they had to climb to get to our new house. You will struggle to find better more friendly service! Also great vans - particularly the Lutons!

This is the third time we've used Surrey Hill Removals. They were a huge help when a family member had just over a week to move out of rented accommodation. They supplied boxes and packing materials so we could pack some items ourselves. On moving day they showed up on time, with three friendly crew members who made light work of moving furniture and boxes down a flight of stairs from a first floor flat. They took great care packing and then unloading everything at the destination at which they arrived on time. The three person crew were polite, efficient and very helpful as we had to move things around a couple of times to get them to fit into the new place! The office staff are always friendly and helpful and we were grateful that they accommodated our deadline with such efficiency and care. We would definitely use Surrey Hills Removals again and highly recommend them for your next move. They are professionals who know how to get the job done well.
