In a less-than-ideal situation, we exchanged contracts, completed our sale & purchase and moved all on one day, two days after the Surrey Hills team of Grant, Josh and Sam, began loading. They were very hard-working, cheerful, accommodating and extremely helpful over the three days that they helped us move. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very philosophical about the prospect of unloading our contents into a container and putting them into storage at absolutely no notice. Luckily this did not need to happen. The admin team at HQ were just as helpful as the team doing the heavy lifting and we cannot recommend this company too highly.

Each of the teams did an excellent job - accurate quote, good communication/organisation, caring, professional staff, nothing too much trouble. Professional service & friendly staff.

We were a little apprehensive about whether or not the slight premium in fees was going to be worth it but I can happily say we couldn't be more pleased. Moving is always going to be a stressful and tiring process but choosing the right moving company can go a long way towards reducing this and was very much the case for us with Surrey Hills Removals. Ahead of time sending a generous amount of boxes (we opted to pack things ourselves) and super organised across the two days in what felt as smooth a moving process as you could hope for. Special call out to Dave and Kevin - nothing fazed them and I appreciated the care and attention they gave every aspect of the move. We will certainly be using them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Professional from start to finish. Easy to arrange a visit for a quote, and good information ahead of time about the move itself. The team on the moving days were great - whirlwinds of efficiency but also very accommodating of me working from home and my daughter “helping” to pack toys. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness with which they arranged furniture at the other end!

We dont move house that often, our last was 12 years ago. I picked Surrey Hills from a positive statement from a neighbour that had used them. I only went to one removal co, and as moving house is stressful enough, wasn't prepared to compromise, and I was right. They were extremely good with working to our completion dates that changed like the wind, and prior to the move say, Dave thier chargehand and packer was a star, and couldn't do enough to help. On teh day all of the chaps were extremely polite and helpful. The whole thing was extremely well executed and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Dont scrimp on fees, you simply need this to happen like clockwork, and for us, it did.

Really great experience from quote through to box pick up. Very straight forward, no hidden charges, the team kept in touch while we played the waiting game on dates, but didn't hassle. And then, the move. What a great bunch of guys. Worked really hard, communicated expectations well, brilliant with the dog :-) Felt like a service plus. They didn't just move us, but when we realised a couple of bits of furniture were in the wrong place, they were happy to move them. They didn't grumble about the rain or the horrible hill they had to climb to get to our new house. You will struggle to find better more friendly service! Also great vans - particularly the Lutons!

This is the third time we've used Surrey Hill Removals. They were a huge help when a family member had just over a week to move out of rented accommodation. They supplied boxes and packing materials so we could pack some items ourselves. On moving day they showed up on time, with three friendly crew members who made light work of moving furniture and boxes down a flight of stairs from a first floor flat. They took great care packing and then unloading everything at the destination at which they arrived on time. The three person crew were polite, efficient and very helpful as we had to move things around a couple of times to get them to fit into the new place! The office staff are always friendly and helpful and we were grateful that they accommodated our deadline with such efficiency and care. We would definitely use Surrey Hills Removals again and highly recommend them for your next move. They are professionals who know how to get the job done well.

We recently used Surry Hills removals to move us 200 miles up the country. Have used the team in the past and would recommend them to anyone. The team there are highly experienced, friendly and really go the extra mile to get the job done.

Due to a very short gap between exchange and completion, we had very little time (3 days) to organise our house move. 3 quotes showed Surrey Hills as not the cheapest but a very positive friend’s recommendation and the “can do” attitude during the personal (ie not video) quote visit convinced us to go with them. So glad we did. They were brilliant! Nothing too much trouble, “yes we can” to all and any requests we made, positive and very friendly crew throughout despite moving into a town house on 4 floors (loads of steps). No extras, no breakages, no complaints. Moving is a very stressful business but the Surrey Hills team made it as smooth and pain-free as possible. Highly recommended.

Surrey Hills removals did a wonderful job packing up our belongings, storing them for one week and returning them in excellent condition. They did this for a wedding we were having at our house and needed to clear out half the downstairs. Highly recommend.

These moved started in the middle of 2023 and were completed mid March 2024. Furniture and effects from 2 properties went via another property and Surrey Hills storage without any delay or damage to end up in a third property in Farnham. Everyone from the MD downwards were extremely accommodating with changing dates and plans. The crews, lead each time by Dave Boorer, were careful and very obliging. I have recommended Surrey Hills Removals to family and friends in the past and would never dream of using anyone else.

An excellent service provided from beginning to end by all members of our removal team. The team demonstrated efficiency, great communication skills and attention to detail and ensured that we were moved to our new home address in a kindly and friendly manner. There was good humour all the way, even when a hiccup occurred in the completion process and our impressions of them were first rate. They listened fully to our requirements throughout the process, taking time to double check packing and placing needs and were very supportive throughout the move.

The guys arrived as arranged, worked very hard, packing and moving everything, were helpful and did a great job. Came along a few days later and took away the huge pile of boxes after I’d unpacked. Thank you

Particularly we would thanks Danny the foreman. Our move was challenging as we were down sizing, so much went into store and the rest to a smaller new home. Nothing was too much trouble and what was for us a stressful time they met with good humour. After sales was brilliant. They looked through their store to find something we particularly wanted and also returned to our old house to pick up some items I had overlooked in the garden. We used Surrey Hills Removals following recommendations on the local Facebook page. We were very pleased with the professional and friendly service. Communication with head office was easy and helpful. The removals team were with us for 3 days and worked very hard. They took care with our possessions and were pleasant and considerate.

Surrey Hills organised the removals to my new house. They were efficient, timely, and they were friendly and hard working. All my belongings were well cared for and wrapped where necessary. The after care was also very good. I have used Surrey Hills Removals twice now and would definitely recommend them.

These guys gave a high level of confidence from the first estimation visit to the final unloading. During all phases of the 3-day packing and loading and 2-day unloading process, Grant and his team were cheerful, obliging, communicative, and careful. They were tolerant of a couple of last minute changes of where stuff should go. The service was excellent - nothing was broken, nothing was lost - what more could you want?

The work entailed a move out, possessions being split into for storage and for our rented house, and, then a year later, delivery out of store in instalments and out of the rented house into our new home. We had 9 or 10 containers in store Everything happened as it should - timely quote, all dates for the main moves adhered to and a minor change at the end easily accommodated. Staff throughout were unfailingly cheerful, friendly and helpful. Difficult combinations of dimensions of furniture and constricted access were dealt with efficiently. The key member of the physical moving team was the same throughout, providing welcome continuity. The office team was just as responsive and helpful. My wife and I were delighted. Not the cheapest quote (nor the most expensive) we received but we chose to pay more to get good service and we got it. So we would say good value for money. Any downsides/issues - not really and only worth mentioning to show how they were dealt with. An insignificant breakage during packing was immediately brought to our attention. They forgot to load our garden stoneware (not containerised but stored for the year at their depot outside) but rectified again immediately. Would we use Surrey Hills again. Without hesitation.

Arrived promptly introduced themselves. Once shown around the house they just cracked on and packed all our belongings with speed and care. All my questions, there was quite a few. Answered to my satisfaction. Unpacking our house the next day once again could not fault there approach to the job that needed to be done. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Surrey Hills Removals have just provided me with an excellent service, moving my belongings from North East Hampshire to the Welsh border. Communication was excellent and the teams who respectively took my stuff into storage and then moved it to Wales were super efficient and friendly. I cannot fault any part of their operation - it was reassuringly professional at all times.

Surrey Hills Removals moved our furniture on a tight deadline into their storage facility before Christmas 2022 and then on to our new home in January. They gave us confidence in their abilities at all stages of the move, and despite variations to the schedule the work was completed on budget. Their staff were all polite and careful with our furnishings - nothing was damaged it was a pleasure to deal with them.

Surrey Hill’s weren’t the cheapest quote but they were the only firm to make a personal visit to supply a quote, and unprompted, guaranteed the work wouldn’t be outsourced. Grant ran both the packing day and moving day smoothly and efficiently. The team were cheerful and efficient and packed and moved our things with no damage. I have no hesitation in recommending Surrey Hills.

We went for the packing and removal service. We had a great moving experience-the guys were efficient, friendly and tidy-we didn’t lift a finger. Everything was packed well, and properly labeled with no breakages/damage to the property or the house and boxes put into the correct rooms in the new house. Would highly recommend-stress free experience!
