When we asked for a quote it was to move us only. However, the man who named to see us also quoted for his team to pack for us (which I thought I could handle). However, after spending £90 on boxes and bubble wrap I was nowhere near being ready and their quote for packing was so reasonable it was a no brainer to ask them to do this. Everything was superbly packed and there was no damage to anything. The members of staff all had uniforms on, where extremely polite and considerate and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I don't want to move again - but if we did, I would definitely use this company.

Moving is very daunting but Surrey Hills Movers made it so much less so! They were very helpful, packed everything extremely carefully and were excellent on communication so I knew exactly when they would be at my house, how much information they needed and what furniture they could leave me with (we moved on a Monday so had a virtually empty house over the weekend). The moving day went very smoothly, they had 2 days to unpack the lorries and pallets, they were as quick as we could have hoped and very generous with their time. They had no problem moving any furniture we had decided was in the wrong place and they certainly did a better job of putting all the furniture back together than we would have done. I'd definitely recommend them, fantastic experience.

Mann's removal company were extremely accommodating to our move dates. The guys arrived promptly and liaised well with me as where to start. They packed up the house efficiently. On arrival at the new property the team unloaded into the rooms we asked them to. Beds were put back together promptly. We would highly recommend Mann's removal company.

From the initial survey to getting the moving date we wanted, the whole experience was positive. The movers, Daniel, James and Jonathon arrived on time and soon had most of our possessions carefully packed. Everything arrived undamaged and in no time all was arranged as we wanted. Everyone we dealt with at Manns was friendly, helpful and courteous.

We had a staggered two-day move, with most of our belongings needing to be stored over a weekend. Surrey Hills removals were able to accommodate this and made the move as seamless as possible, with the removal team planning and managing every stage brilliantly. They were all polite, cheerful and so hardworking. Everything was professionally packed with care and we were delighted that nothing at all was broken when we unpacked. Would highly recommend.

From the very first call into Surrey Hills Removals I felt comfortable and they proved me right! They were extremely helpful and gave excellent advice without over selling the package. The removal men were very quick, careful, helpful and cheerful - we would definitely choose Surrey Hills again if we ever moved - which we hope won’t be for a very long time, however!

The team were extremely polite and professional as well as being considerate as to what items to pack and leave. They were finished packing and loading in time for us to have a pub lunch on moving day and made the whole process very relaxing! And once at our new house, more staff came to help and they moved us in efficiently, cleanly and worked around us with no bother as we explored the house.

A 2 day rolling removal with small van and two staff. Subject to what is said below, I would consider the service to be excellent with everything going to plan. The staff were polite and considerate. The only limitation on what is said above is the fact that the staff were a little pushed to complete the job in the time allowed which could lead to problems with packing and, hence, relocation of possessions after the move.

During a very stressful house move Manns/Surrey Hills were the stand-out part of it. We had to postpone the date twice, and on the day still didn't know if we would be moving in or needing to store our furniture. They were unfailingly pleasant on the phone, clear about what they could or might not be able to manage, and on the day were very responsive, looking for any possible spaces to slot in redelivery at short notice if needed. In the event they were able to take our stuff overnight and redeliver the next day. Their response to our uncertainty, their flexibility and helpful attitude were greatly appreciated. The guys who did the moving, led by Andy, were polite, punctual and efficient. All-in-all an excellent service and highly recommended.

Manns both moved me out of my old house and into my new one and the team that arrived everyday were fantastic especially Dave. It was a very tight schedule as my buyer was pushing me to move fast but the team remained friendly, cheerful and helpful throughout. Some of my things have had to remain in storage as I have considerably downsized but what is great is that Manns have storage facilities and can store everything until I am ready to take delivery. I would have no hesitation in recommending Manns to anyone thinking of moving - a traditional, professional company.

Every team member was competent, completely professional, efficient, helpful and pleasant from start to finish. A home visit was performed first, and an accurate assessment of the size of job and cost was made, within less than 24hrs. There was no hidden extra fee at the end. Job was performed and completed exactly as planned at the outset. Moving house can be very stressful - The movers were not only very helpful with some tips and advice to make things easier, they were also very patient and considerate. Could not recommend the team and service more highly.

Kind, considerate and professional from the first point of contact to post-removal. Not only was communication consistent, reassuring and professional, removals team on the ground on the day were punctual, a pleasure to meet, as well as hard working. Handling family heirlooms and sentimental items was a sensitive task, successfully completed.

We didn’t have an easy job - a move over 3 days and although only down the road, the house we moved out of had about 25 steps from the road down to the house and was spread over 3 storeys. The men walked up and down the stairs hundreds of times over the 3 days and although we joked about their fitness levels improving, it was very hard work and they didn’t complain once. On top of that, they were friendly, professional, packed everything well and I have unpacked 85% and nothing has been damaged or broken. Thank you and I would certainly recommend them.

I have recently moved home, with Manns Removals and would highly recommend them. From the initial consultation in my home to the final box being brought in from the van, everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous and efficient. Our move was slightly complicated in that we were moving from one house into two, they had a clear plan for how they were going to manage this and all went smoothly on the day. We had two teams looking after us and they were all extremely helpful and worked well together to get the job done. I used the full packing service and everything ended up in the right place and in one piece.

Excellent. We moved from Surrey to Suffolk putting most things into store in Ipswich. Paul and the team did a great job and were very helpful and professional. From the original visit from Mark to closing the store door everything went like clockwork.

Over two days a team of 2 and 3 movers helped pack and move our family home in Guildford. They were very fast and the move went extremely smoothly. I have moved many times and I can honestly say this was the easiest move so far, thanks to the moving team who put a lot of care and thought into their packing and placement of our belongings. Couldn’t praise the whole team highly enough. From my initial enquiry to after service, I dealt with friendly professional people. I have used lots of removal firms in the past and whilst the basic service is often the same, subtle difference make a huge impact on the day. The thing that marks Surrey Hills Removals from the rest is their truly personal service. Prior to the move I dealt with friendly people who seemed to know me and the job and not just admin staff. The quote was competitive and after an email and extensive photos, I was given on the quote same day. This was the second time I had employed a removal team in three months and I was very keen that this job would only take one day. The team were quick, quiet and courteous and worked into the early evening to make sure the job didn’t run over into two days. The job was a little complicated in that I was moving some items to other parts of house myself. If one of the team saw me struggling they were quick to help. Given that my furniture is in storage and I am dependent on Surrey Hills Removals to reinstate the items, I have no worries about yet another visit from the removal team. I would certainly recommend them.

Surrey Hills Removals (Manns) are a premier service removal company with outstanding removal planning, service and staff. Everything they said they would do, they did, no question. They bent over backwards to accommodate our needs, they did everything on schedule, on quote and more. All their staff both on site and in the office where totally customer centric and professional. The end to end service was brilliant. My advice to people looking for a similar removal service, is many removal companies over promise and under deliver; Surrey Hills Removals under promise and over deliver. Always use their service.

The removal team were excellent. Everything was done as quoted. Managed to remove upstairs furniture through the doors and balcony. All items well packed and no damage. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend them.

I wanted to write to say thank you for the Surrey Hill's Removals team incredible hard work over the course of our move. Andrew, Kane and Dan were fantastic as was Bob the kitchen packing guru. I now have a greater appreciation of the scale of the effort and time required and was so impressed by the care and attention paid by the team to all our belongings. We felt most reassured by their professionalism and they were a pleasure to work with.

Removers arrived on time and worked hard. They moved our items the day before we were able to move ourselves and we were very pleased and grateful they went the extra mile to collect the key and move our possessions in first. Unfortunately we discovered a number of items had been broken (bed assembled incorrectly, stereo packed on top of CDs, potted rose snapped etc). Upon an email requesting compensation, we received two bizarre, abusive emails full of odd lies from the owner - insulting our character and home and insinuating that we were only in it for the compensation. Given that their compensation scheme is £40 a box and the items they broke were worth well in excess of that, I imagine I have better things to do with my time! Could not recommend.
