I chose this firm from 5 due to excellent reviews, price and no hard sell. I was given great advice when I initially rang up and sent a quote with information by email. When I decided to go ahead, Steve came round to the house for a survey and to explain things further and gave an installation date. Other firms gave me the hard sell and tried to sell me a battery which I knew was not in my best interest as I'm a low user. The scaffolders were great, contacting me to check when was convenient to assemble and dismantle. The actual installation went well and all the lads were friendly. A minor gripe was that a number of broken tiles and other rubbish were left in my garden bin which I had to retrieve (with an arm in plaster!) I really think the rubbish should have been removed by the firm. There were also issues connecting to the app but TBH it doesn't seem that helpful anyway. I would definitely recommend Suse energy BUT I have still not been sent the MCS certificate and information pack/guarantee after more than 5 weeks! This is meant to happen within 10 working days. I therefore cannot register for the SEG yet! I have mentioned it twice but it's been difficult to get hold of anyone by phone since they moved premises. A shame that this lets down an otherwise great company.

We had a 4.38kW Solar PV installation at our home, and Steve and his team were very professional from start to finish. From explaining the options during the initial visit to scheduling the work -- Steve made the process clear. During the work itself, the installation team were very respectful and professional, laying down mats to prevent our carpet getting dirty, and letting us know when the electricity needed to be turned off. We're now the proud owners of a solar panel system with battery and mains failover, and we couldn't be more pleased with the work! I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Sustainable Energy Engineering team to others.

Reasonable quotation given and Mr. Fairless was honest about the maximum amount of energy we could generate, and the lower yield to expect in winter. Job done on time and efficiently. They set me up on the monitoring app and taught me how to use it. There was a snag which meant that the gas flue had to be moved but this was done at their cost.

I had a solar battery fitting by Sustainable Energy in 2019. The batteries developed a fault in June 2020. This fault was was caused by a fault in the batteries. I'm not technical so all I know is that they didn't work. Adam and Steve came around the same say as I reported the fault and Adam, the Engineer, quickly identified what was wrong. I think it's important to write reviews about post installation, so that customers know what an installer is like and his work ethic after he has taken your money. It's more important to know how an installer reacts when things go wrong. The battery supplier, Pylontech were less than useless. Steve copied me in to every email sent to the company to try to get my batteries replaced, which appeared to be on deaf ears. So the short version of my story is that my batteries were replaced free of charge, by SolaX in conjunction with Sustainable Energy. My batteries were delivered Monday and fitted Tuesday. I also would like to note the batteries appear to be far better than the ones I originally purchased, take up much less room and to be honest, just look better. Its the small things that make a good job and the workmanship and attention to detail are what make a company. As far as I'm concerned, Sustainable Energy may be a small family run firm, but they are as good as anyone in the market today, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
