There's almost nothing here to review - it was one of the most straightforward trade bookings I've experienced. We booked online - very easy - and they turned up in the window they said, with reminders and more detail nearer the date, and then when they were on their way. Job was done very quickly and neatly. I liked the certificate they give you online where you can see a photo of the flue, as well as evidence of the smoke test.

I had a new homeowner inspection carried out for my fireplace by SweepSmart; including a chimney sweep. The team that attended (Paul and Mason) were very professional and friendly. They arrived promptly and as scheduled. The inspection was carried out in a very clean and tidy manner; and Paul gave great advice on the use of the fireplace with a demo. The booking process was quick and easy; and payment can be made easily by card after the job. Great service and very happy. Looking forward to making use of the fireplace this winter. We asked SweepSmart to sweep the chimney for our open fire and the chimney for a our wood burner. They turned up early within the window identified. The property was left as clean as it was before his arrival. Paul took time to explain efficentcy of my stove and how to get the best out of it. Sweep Smart did a very efficient job of cleaning my chimney ready for the winter months. They were prompt and got to work immediately. As promised they screened up the fireplace so the job created no mess at all. It was easy to contact them and book the appointment. I will definitely be using their services again in the future and highly recommend them.

Have used Sweepsmart for our annual chimney sweep for the last white a few years. Always very efficient from start to finish. Booking is easy with responsive office staff, 2-3hour time slots are excellent for helping plan your day. Even better is the text on the day to say when they are on the way. On arrival Paul and co always work hard to ensure minimal mess or disruption. Apart from a sparkly clean stove you wouldn’t even know they’ve been in your home! Sound and friendly advice on the efficiency of the stove, no attempt to upsell to earn extra money (I asked about the broken firebrick and was reassured it was fine rather than pushed to replace it). Competitive rates and, if you wish, you’re able to pay there and then to get it off your to-do list. Oh, and invoicing and certification is provided promptly by email so you have the paperwork needed for insurance etc. Top notch as always and thoroughly recommend.

As soon as submitting an enquiry on the automated online booking system, I received an acknowledgement followed shortly thereafter by a 'phone call to confirm the booking. I was sent a reminder two days before the visit, then an actual time slot the evening before. Paul and his colleague arrived bang on time, even though I live right in the centre of London and parking is tricky. Both were very respectful of the space -- careful navigating their bulky kit through the house -- and did an extremely tidy job, with helpful explanations of what they were doing throughout. Paul then went above and beyond by sending a camera up the chimney flue to investigate an issue raised by a neighbour, doing a smoke test and climbing onto the roof to check all was in order. He diagnosed the likely issue right away. I could not recommend SweepSmart and the service that its team provides more highly. Superb!

The team was extremely professional. Took great care of my property and explained everything as they went along. Unfortunately/luckily they discovered problems with my flue ( A DIY job done before my time here) so they could not sweep. But gave a full report, photos, and recommendations. Richard came today to sweep our chimney, he helpful and friendly. We asked many questions which he was happy to answer and help us with any worry's about our log burner. The sweeping of the chimney was so quick i was shocked, he made zero mess and was just all round really good! Will definitely recommend and will be calling again for next year’s sweep!

They first visited in July to sweep the chimney but advised that we needed to fit access panels to do the job safely. Returned in mid august to conduct that remediation work and they were so efficient and careful that it wasn’t obvious that they’ve visited! Kept me advised throughout the work what they were found and were able to reduce the cost a little by taking a slightly different approach. Very professional, courteous and time efficient.
