Excellent service from Richard, not only was he super efficient with the chimney sweep and left zero mess. But also gave his time and expertise assessing an existing issue, providing a clear explanation, options and detailing how Smart sweep maybe able to help with out the hard sell. Would definitely recommend.

Adam and Paul arrived within the appointment window, explained the process as they went along, quickly swept the chimney, vacuumed the soot from the stove with a HEPA filtered vacuum and left the room clean. Explained the baffle had been incorrectly fitted by a previous sweep. Cleaned the glass of the stove and left it superbly clean. Adam demonstrated the draw of the chimney with a smoke bomb with and without door closed and advised how to light the fire for wood. I have no hesitation in recommending them, or using them again next time.

Arranged for the chimney to be swept, CCTV survey and smoke test. The process was clean and efficient. The operator was polite and helpful, explaining the process. The cost was reasonable, particularly given the standard of workmanship. I shall be using them for the installation of the fireplace.

I have never needed a 'sweep' before but I am so glad I found this company. It is run very well and though I was not around for the job, my tenant said it was carried out in a very efficient manner. I would not hesitate to recommend. It also seems to be very good value.

We wanted our old chimney swept after many years of not being used and chose SweepSmart. Communication was excellent with text confirmation and a follow up text in the day to confirm when they would arrive. Adam arrived promptly and set up. He talked me through what was happening as he worked. We also discussed chimney caps and best way to block the chimney to avoid drafts when not in use. A lot of debris and soot was removed, but the whole process was very clean due to setup. Pictures were taken before and after and form part of the certificate that was issued. Overall extremely happy with the service and would definitely use again and recommend to others.

I am new to having a fireplace and from my first contact the staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Good competitive rates, easy booking, helpful text and email reminders explaining how to prepare for the inspection. SweepSmart were first rate start to finish. Very efficient and pleasant member of the team when booking, then reminders and relevant information up to the day itself. Had to inform them that I had a parking restriction outside my house but was not a problem as arranged to come after 10 am Contacted by Richard on the day with the ETA, and he arrived dead on time. Richard then swept the chimney thoroughly efficiently and cleanly, leaving the room exactly as he had found it. The certificate and paperwork arrived immediately afterwards. Job excellently done. Had my chimney swept by Adam who also carried out a minor repair whilst there. The stove now works better than it ever has and the window does not blacken as much as it used to. Great job, would highly recommended Sweepsmart.

I found the process of booking and subsequent communication with Adam so easy. The quote was less than I expected it to be, so was happy to book in. Adam came today - on time, reminders sent etc... - and was fantastic. I learned so much about what we were doing wrong with our fire (burner, not open) that will be game-changing in how we use it. He cleaned the space thoroughly and was meticulous about keeping his surrounding area clean also. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We’ve had a log burner for approx 15 years which has always been swept regularly, when we tried to use it this year, it was extremely difficult to light and smelt of smoke. We tried a different bag of fuel & different logs, with no joy. We wondered if maybe there was a birds nest, so I tried to contact our regular sweep, he never returned our calls in 3 weeks. Someone suggested contacting Paul. Best thing we could have done, the lady on the phone managed to fit us in for Monday the 9th. She sent confirmation email & tracking texts with Keil arriving spot on time. Within 10 mins of arrival he’d diagnosed the problem as a broken blanking plate at the back of log burner, he asked “did I want the office to locate a new part”. First thing on Tuesday the 10th the office had located a new part at a very reasonable price, if I wanted to proceed they could fit & sweep the chimney on Saturday the 14th. Spot on time Tony arrived, fitted part, swept & fully checked it was all safe & working. All at a very fair price. Well done everyone at SWEEPSMART!
