As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

I used SweepSmart to replace my flue liner earlier this year and they worked really hard to overcome a few obstacles that had been created by the old liner corroding and falling apart. This time was a professional rotary sweep and fitting new parts to my stove to keep it in tip top condition. The guys work really clean and professionally and I cannot fault their standard or work. I feel lucky to have found them. The booking, work, invoice and documents process is absolutely spot on, (some big companies should take a leaf out of SweepSmart's book! Very happy to recommend these guys.

Sweepsmart swept two chimneys in our residential house. Their administration was very efficient. They came exactly as planned and the work took no longer than promised. They explained what they were doing, described the one or two difficulties that presented themselves and how they dealt with them.They were very unobtrusive and left no trace of their presence behind them. Paul came to clean our chimney today, and assess what work needed doing to install a log burner. Paul was extremely quick and proficient and very willing to give advice on not only the fireplace that was being cleaned but also another fireplace in the house, which was greatly appreciated. Outstanding service and consideration from Tony. absolutely nothing was too much trouble and explained what he was doing at every stage. It made sense for him to carry out the additional work (at our request) to fit a chimney guard. Again this work was also completed on the day.

Tony and his colleague worked very hard to clear 2 chimney flues that were the possible cause of a damp problem. They explained the procedure throughout the process and kept me informed. It was good to see the images from the camera investigation which was very helpful. The work was carried out in a calm and efficient manner and the rooms were left very clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend using this company. Many thanks to all concerned.

Booking the work was dealt with most efficiently. Adam was punctual (having advised that he was on his way); he was friendly and courteous and his communication was superb - he explained things I should have known years ago - and he fully briefed me on what he was doing and about additional work that will make the appliance more efficient. He also gave helpful advice about documentation needed for legal and insurance compliance. All together an excellent service.
