Welcome to SweepSmart, an independent chimney sweeping company covering London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

Very tidy and thorough
Arranged for a service/clean of my wood burner. Arrived on time and from what I could see did a very thorough and competent job - explained what was being done and took time to answer a couple of questions I had. Took great care not to make any mess and everything was spotless at the end. Very happy with the service.

Second time I’ve used this firm and if anything I’m more impressed! Firstly getting an appt is very easy and efficient… you are informed all the way they turn up exactly when they say and are polite ( answered my questions very well) stove was swept efficiently and area kept very clean I recommend this company highly

Chimney sweep service for my wood burning stove. They managed to book me in fairly quickly. Very convenient service, they send instructions on how to prepare, what to expect and a reminder of the appointment. You can even track how far away your chimney sweep is prior to your slot. Payment took about 2 secs online. Adam worked very quickly and efficiently and gave us loads of advice on our stove which has been overheating. I’ll surely be using them next year and would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a reliable and affordable service.

The booking system worked well, although i had a to wait a while for an appt i think this often means they are a business in demand, always a good sign. They gave me lots if alerts about when they would arrive arrived when they said they would, did a very tidy job. No nonsense. Really what you should be able to expect but it is still a surprise when a business is like this. Will definitely ise for my regular chimney sweeping

Friendly and efficient service from booking to tidying up....Safety checks carried out, advice given about the state of our fireplaces, chimneys and lack of carbon monoxide alarms and not a speck of soot left behind! Great to have 'before and after' photographs of the chimneys. Thoroughly recommended!

I am very impressed by Adam and his service. From start to finish SweepSmart were excellent. Great communication, punctual, they gave a great time estimate for arrival that was not too wide. Paul arrived on time and swept our chimney which had not been cleaned for some ten years previously. He explained the process to be undertaken which he then carried out professionally and with the minimum of fuss and disruption. He hoovered up a small amount of debris and left the house clean and tidy after first recommending we purchase a new CO2 monitor/alarm. We were both impressed and pleased with the level of service provided.

I have used SweepSmart for a number of years. They installed our wood burner about 8 years ago and have serviced and maintained it ever since. The chimney sweeps have all been really efficient and friendly. The booking in process is really easy. Initially they send you a two hour window and then an exact time of arrival on the day. Their annual reminder service is really also very helpful! Would highly recommend Sweepsmart to anyone!

Really pleased with the whole procedure, on phoning for a date for the job to getting the chimney swept. It was a painless procedure and everybody I spoke to was helpful and informative. My first (but not last) time using Sweepsmart. Really impressed. More than happy to recommend them. Good website (clear information). Really quick to respond to my email enquiries (thank you to Faith) and to book a convenient date and time for the sweep/cctv service. It was helpful to be given a 2 hour slot and, on the day, to the be able to track arrival. Tony arrived on time, was friendly and courteous and carried out the sweep service/cctv inspection quietly and efficiently. Dealt with a couple of minor issues and gave helpful advice. Payment straightforward and certificate emailed straightaway. All sorted.
