As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

I used SweepSmart for a chimney sweep and the whole experience was brilliant. To tick the checklist off: easy to book (people actually answered the phone and were helpful when you ring); turned up on time and texted to say they were on their way; were clean and tidy (if you’re expecting a brush up an open fireplace and soot everywhere you’re in for a disappointment); were quick (but thorough); and the follow-up was impressive ie the cert was sent via email quickly and the invoicing/ paying is easy to access. Everyone I spoke to was polite and easy to deal with too. A definite recommend.

Tony arrived at 7.30am, efficiently got on with the preparation and chimney sweeping and advised us about the need to renew our carbon monoxide monitor in the next couple of years. He was polite and professional, and was careful of Covid-19 safe ways of working. The novelty of the technology taking over all the admin (email confirmation and chimney sweeping certificate, electronic payment and even being able to track where Tony was on his inbound journey) is great too.

I would definitely recommend this company. Paul was on time ( text to let us know on the way 15 minutes before) . He completed the job efficiently and the house was left immaculate. He also gave some helpful advice regarding the condition of one of our chimneys. We would definitely use this company again.

Best ever - I use him every year. He’s friendly, efficient, very reasonably priced, always on time. I can’t praise him enough. No mess at all - he leaves my fireplace cleaner than he found it. Don’t forget to look at the brush coming out of your chimney for a year’s good luck!

Great service again from Paul and his team. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always clear things away before and after the job. This is the second year since we installed the wood burner. They rock as a group and don't mess around when it comes to service. Always there when you need them. We had problems with the fire originally but they pointed us in the right direction and it's now solved. I'd always recommend them for prompt and efficient service.

If you're going to be gathered around the fire or stove this winter, be safe and get this inexpensive Covid-secure service first. Modern delivery of traditional chimney-sweeping; no gimmicks, just hard work and an exceptional service, with great technical advice. Digital online tracking of arrival time (Paul was, of course, on time for the appointment) and e-delivery of certification. Paul arrived punctually, put down dust sheets from the front door to the chimney (very impressed with this). Couldn't be happier with the service we received from SweepSmart. This company offers a service that cannot be beaten. Paul turned up on time covered all my carpet to make sure there was no dirt or mess, he made a brilliant job of sweeping my log burning stove chimney. I cannot recommend him highly enough, I used him last year for the first time and I most certainly will be using him next. He turned up on time and he has a great little app that lets you follow him on a map to see you when he will be with you. Also easy to pay through the link on his app.

We had a level 1 chimney inspection as we have a working fireplace that we have never used. It was a great service. Paul arrived on time (with a 30 minute warning prior to arrival) and he left our living room very clean. He was very friendly and offered us lots of advice. Highly recommended!

Initial contact was dealt with efficiently and quickly. A week prior to visit email confirming date and time of visit. Arrived at agreed time. The chimney was swept efficiently and cleanly. A fantastic service from SweepSmart. I was kept well informed about the time of my appointment and once Paul arrived he was fast and efficient. He cleaned out the chimney, showing us the brush poking through the chimney stack on the roof. He left the hearth area spotless and used more than adequate protective equipment to prevent any dirt being left in the house. I will definitely be using him again to keep my chimney clear.
