Welcome to SweepSmart, an independent chimney sweeping company covering London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

I'm so glad I found Sweep Smart, every year they provide excellent service. Booking is no problem (and thanks for the June discount reminder!). I wouldn't use anyone else. So easy to book, always arrive when they say they will, you can even track their arrival. Very clean sweep, never leave any mess and they provide pictures of your flue so you can see the before and after sweep. Certificate is provided on the day, right after they have finished! Perfect service and fairly priced.

I called the company & was impressed with the lady taking all the details for one of our rental properties, she arranged everything perfectly. Our tenant said they were excellent clearing the chimney & the pigeon, everything was left tidy. We were also sent a certificate with the invoice. I without doubt fully recommend this company.

I had SmartSweep to install my log burner last year and they were outstanding in every aspect of their work. The installation was carried out professionally and was all certified. The follow up service was excellent and I was sent a reminder by them that my chimney was due for cleaning. Adam and Paul arrived within the appointment window, explained the process as they went along, quickly swept the chimney, vacuumed the soot from the stove with a HEPA filtered vacuum and left the room clean. Explained the baffle had been incorrectly fitted by a previous sweep. Cleaned the glass of the stove and left it superbly clean. Adam demonstrated the draw of the chimney with a smoke bomb with and without door closed and advised how to light the fire for wood. I have no hesitation in recommending them, or using them again next time.

Arranged for the chimney to be swept, CCTV survey and smoke test. The process was clean and efficient. The operator was polite and helpful, explaining the process. The cost was reasonable, particularly given the standard of workmanship. I shall be using them for the installation of the fireplace.
