Welcome to SweepSmart, an independent chimney sweeping company covering London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

The office confirmed and updated from the time of booking. Tony arrived in good time at the property. Very polite and explained the process before ensuring that all areas were fully covered (including any walkways). Carried out a sweep of the chimney (probably the first time since construction) and inspection. A very clean and efficient service was completed. Will definitely be using them again.

Wow, is all I can say to these sweeps, from ease of booking them Price was cheapest around, care of my home was outstanding from opening the door and Paul the sweep laying mats down to cover my carpet not just by the fire but throughout, my chimney has NEVER been swept like Paul swept it, and inspected it, even booked another colleague to fit another part I needed. In fact my chimney I would say. is the best it has ever looked , WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN, and cannot recommend them highly enough. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THESE SWEEPS

Had the chimney swept to ensure able to continue to safely use of our open fire. Making a booking was very smooth, then I was kept updated about time of arrival which was on time and as advised. Excellent service, care taken to ensure no soot/mess anywhere, friendly approach to carrying out the inspection and cleaning of the chimney. Had the chimney swept for our log burner. We were kept updated about time of arrival which was on time and as advised. Very happy with the service, from the carpet rolls laid from the front door to the chimney, to prevent marking our flooring, and the friendliness of the man who carried out the inspection and cleaned the chimney. Gave advice and reassurance throughout, and kept me updated on what was happening. Photos & certificates arrived via email promptly after the visit. Would definitely recommend and will be using again next year.

Service was excellent from beginning to end. Faith in the office kept me updated about the booking and Richard was a very knowledgeable chimney sweep and got the two chimneys swept cleanly and efficiently as well as advising on some questions relating to another chimney. SweepSmart Paul and Adam arrived bang on time. Very clear communication as to the ETA. The job was a chimney inspection and fitting of a Cowl. Adam sorted out the Cowl and was on and off the roof in no time. Cowl fitted perfect job. Paul swept the chimney from inside / living room, left it clean / spotless. Paul also explained why the chimney in my property had at the top been narrowed. Discussed lining and was given advice. Top lads.

I have used Sweepsmart for several years now. They were recommended to me by the previous owners. I wouldn't use anyone else now. I have always found them to be very professional, fastidious, clean, friendly, approachable with questions, punctual and reliable. I also appreciate the ease of booking the chimney sweep, communication and invoicing procedure. On this visit we had our yearly sweep.
