We needed our bedroom ceiling (patchy Artex) replaced/skimmed to a smooth plaster finish. Terry gave us an estimate, a planned completion date, and stuck to both. Very impressive workmanship, obviously very experienced, helpful and professional throughout:- Arrived at the agreed time, prepared workplace thoroughly for the inevitable mess, explained what he was going to do, did it, cleaned up afterwards, explained how to deal with the finished job, such as when to re-paint, how to treat. Very impressive local tradesman.

I was given Terry’s name by another tradesman that had done some work for me. I called him, made an appointment, he came at the appointed time to price the job, which was to replastered walls and ceiling of a utility room. The quote was received within 24 hours and a date agreed to do the work. Terry turned up on time, prepared the area, and completed the work within the agreed timeframe. The work was excellent and I will be using him again.

Terry arrived at the appointed time to view repair work needed to the stonework, rendering and plaster work on an old property. His experience and approachable manner made discussion of the work easy. Terry was prompt with his quotation and kept to the agreed dates. He put down covers and cleared up when the work was finished. Terry explained what was happening at each stage and his advice has been invaluable. The quality of the work is excellent and I would certainly use Terry again.

We asked to render the interior walls, ceilings and render the front of our cottage, and we are extremely happy with the finished work by Terry. Terry was very quick at returning a quote, always contactable and importantly was a pleasure to have in the house working. We will definitely be using Terry again.

Terry provided a quick and attractively priced quote to brick up and plaster an internal doorway. From my initial phone call and his subsequent visit to provide the quote it was clear he was an honest and trustworthy master of his craft, and I wasn't proved wrong. Terry commenced on time each day and completed the work exactly as agreed and to an excellent standard. It was also nice that he accommodated my afterthought to include some electrical fittings as the work proceeded, taking on board placing of the fitments prior to plastering. Terry is really polite and friendly, and like me enjoys copious amounts of tea to get through the day! I can thoroughly recommend his work and would have no hesitation in using his services again in the future.

Very satisfied with work provided. We needed artex ceiling and coving removed and replaced with plaster. Job was completed on time and was priced very reasonably. Terry was very helpful with any questions we had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Mr Cobb has completed work for me which is very good, he is a very professional man, he was very understanding of the problem I had. He arrived at the time he said he would, kept the work area clear and as clean as possible and was most personable. When he finished he left the area as clean as when he arrived and his plastering looking 100% I would recommend him to anyone.

Terry repaired our kitchen ceiling which had been damaged by a water leak. He also removed the existing artex and applied undercoat and topcoat leaving a superb finish. The debris was removed and the kitchen left usable each evening. We were so pleased with the quality of the work that we extended the job to include removal of the upper kitchen units and shelving and to make good the old plastering. The quotations that he provided included full descriptions of all agreed work and there were no unexpected costs. Terry finished the work within the quoted time.

I had a problem with damp on a wall in a rental flat in Bedford. Terry suggested fitting a protective plasterboard and plastering over that, which involved removing and replacing skirting boards etc. He made a very neat job of it, and the whole job was done very promptly, at the agreed price which seemed very reasonable. I would certainly hope to use Terry again for another local plastering job if one came up, and am very happy to recommend him.

Just had the pleasure of having Terry carry out plastering of three large rooms in Edlesborough. This included re plaster-boarding a large ceiling area. The work was completed on schedule, on budget and to a fantastic standard. Terry is a great tradesperson who is warm and friendly and extremely professional. Terry undertook a difficult job involving high work and a complex problem that others had turned down. It involved boarding and plastering. Terry moved existing internal walls and doorways, plastered, tiled our shower room and then converted the rear of our garage into a utility room. We have used his services many times now. He is a very reliable, versatile, amenable and capable person/builder and we would have no hesitation in recommending his work.

This is the second plastering job Terry has done for me. He was here for a week plastering my hallway, stairs and landing. Not only did he do a high-quality job, but he was also very accommodating of the fact that I was working from home and have a young puppy. He has a friendly manner, arrived when he said he was going to, and left everything tidy at the end of the job. Terry had to move a radiator cover, which had been broken for ages, and after he’d put it back I noticed that he’d fixed it - such a nice touch. He really does go above and beyond.

Terry skimmed Hall, landing, dining room and downstairs cloakroom of previous artexed ceilings. Thought they would be a problem but Terry dealt with them to a very high standard. Also repaired 2 bedrooms and a bathroom cracked ceilings. His work is of a really high standard, experienced and knowledgeable which gives confidence. We had a water leak in our ceiling which needed to be repaired and then replaced with a flat ceiling to cover the old style artex. We were totally impressed with Terry from the very start of getting our quote, agreeing the work and then completing the job this week as planned and on time, exactly as talked about and agreed. We could not have asked for someone more pleasant or knowledgeable to have done this work for us and we plan to use Terry on lots of other home improvements now that we have found him! Terry skimmed and plastered all our upstairs artex ceilings (including inside the inbuilt wardrobes) and they are looking perfectly smooth now. He also managed to find time to assist us in a bathroom renovation by fitting a 'dot and dab' moisture board on a window wall at an agreed supplementary cost. He responded promptly to our initial request for a quote, answered all of our follow up questions, kept us informed of his start date (which did not change) and terms of payment. He got on with his craft with good humour and professionalism and finished on time.

Terry rescued our kitchen ceiling (which had fallen in on us!). He fitted new plasterboard throughout on day one and covered it in plaster on day two.
