Terry came when promised and completed three rendering jobs for me to my full satisfaction. The work was to a high standard using above average materials and completed on time. I would recommend Terry to anybody based on my own recent positive experience.

We asked Terry to propose the best way of dealing with damp on the window wall, which is over a hundred years old. Terry came up with a practical and cost-effective approach to deal with the cause of the damp and refurbish the inside of the wall. To ensure that a replacement radiator could be securely hung, he first put in 3 wooden supports underneath the window. He then removed the old plaster, added a damp proof membrane and new plasterboard and replastered the wall. He is professional, tidy and agreeable.

Terry replaced the kitchen ceiling in Mum’s house, he was able to attend to the job quickly and completed the work in good time and to a high standard. Terry is personable and professional.

Terry Cobb has recently completed removing an en-suite bathroom for me … he removed the wall, arranged plumbing removal, and created a new wall where the door had been and plastered on both sides, replaced coving and skirting and the ceiling. His work was excellent and he worked non stop … he was tidy and considerate. His rate was very reasonable and we are 100% happy. Highly recommended!

Terry was a great find. He replaced chimney flaunching and external render. Arranged the scaffolding and undertook the work exactly as quoted and on time. Spent a further two days replastering failed internal plasterwork. The quality of his work appears excellent and the cost, fair. Great communication and a nice man to deal with. Overall the whole process was simple, straightforward and no fuss. If only everything could be like this. Would happily recommend.

I needed someone who could plaster my downstairs bathroom and box up some piping. After a couple of timewasters, Terry provided a selection of dates and advice on when and what he would do. Terry repaired some large cracks in my hall and stairway, and replastered it all, including using a new type of insulating plaster in the lobby. He left the site clean and tidy every day, was always polite and friendly, arrived on time and finished the job a day early. I would definitely use him again.

Terry rescued our kitchen ceiling (which had fallen in on us!). He fitted new plasterboard throughout on day one and covered it in plaster on day two. We were able to use our kitchen in the evening of the first day which we were most grateful for. The job was done in good time and for a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended by me.

Terry skimmed and plastered all our upstairs artex ceilings (including inside the inbuilt wardrobes) and they are looking perfectly smooth now. He also managed to find time to assist us in a bathroom renovation by fitting a 'dot and dab' moisture board on a window wall at an agreed supplementary cost. He responded promptly to our initial request for a quote, answered all of our follow up questions, kept us informed of his start date (which did not change) and terms of payment. We had a water leak in our ceiling which needed to be repaired and then replaced with a flat ceiling to cover the old style artex. Terry skimmed Hall, landing, dining room and downstairs cloakroom of previous artexed ceilings. Thought they would be a problem but Terry dealt with them to a very high standard. Also repaired 2 bedrooms and a bathroom cracked ceilings. His work is of a really high standard, experienced and knowledgeable which gives confidence. This is the second plastering job Terry has done for me. He was here for a week plastering my hallway, stairs and landing. Not only did he do a high-quality job, but he was also very accommodating of the fact that I was working from home and have a young puppy. He has a friendly manner, arrived when he said he was going to, and left everything tidy at the end of the job. Terry had to move a radiator cover, which had been broken for ages, and after he’d put it back I noticed that he’d fixed it - such a nice touch. He really does go above and beyond.

Terry moved existing internal walls and doorways, plastered, tiled our shower room and then converted the rear of our garage into a utility room. We have used his services many times now. He is a very reliable, versatile, amenable and capable person/builder and we would have no hesitation in recommending his work.

Terry undertook a difficult job involving high work and a complex problem that others had turned down. It involved boarding and plastering. His work was exceptional, he is a pleasure to have around and he was also very tidy which isn't easy with plastering. Terry recently completed the full re-plastering of our entire house and I can say the standard of his work is fantastic. All work was completed on time and at the agreed price with no issues. Just had the pleasure of having Terry carry out plastering of three large rooms in Edlesborough. This included re plaster-boarding a large ceiling area. The work was completed on schedule, on budget and to a fantastic standard. Terry is a great tradesperson who is warm and friendly and extremely professional. Very pleased with the outcome and will definitely use Terry again in the future ( we have plenty of rooms that need work) No hesitation in recommending Terry very trustworthy and professional man.

I had a problem with damp on a wall in a rental flat in Bedford. Terry suggested fitting a protective plasterboard and plastering over that, which involved removing and replacing skirting boards etc. He made a very neat job of it, and the whole job was done very promptly, at the agreed price which seemed very reasonable. I would certainly hope to use Terry again for another local plastering job if one came up, and am very happy to recommend him.

Terry repaired our kitchen ceiling which had been damaged by a water leak. He also removed the existing artex and applied undercoat and topcoat leaving a superb finish. The debris was removed and the kitchen left usable each evening. We were so pleased with the quality of the work that we extended the job to include removal of the upper kitchen units and shelving and to make good the old plastering. The quotations that he provided included full descriptions of all agreed work and there were no unexpected costs. Terry finished the work within the quoted time.

Mr Cobb has completed work for me which is very good, he is a very professional man, he was very understanding of the problem I had. He arrived at the time he said he would, kept the work area clear and as clean as possible and was most personable. When he finished he left the area as clean as when he arrived and his plastering looking 100% I would recommend him to anyone.

Terry provided a quick and attractively priced quote to brick up and plaster an internal doorway. From my initial phone call and his subsequent visit to provide the quote it was clear he was an honest and trustworthy master of his craft, and I wasn't proved wrong. I called him, made an appointment, he came at the appointed time to price the job, which was to replastered walls and ceiling of a utility room. The quote was received within 24 hours and a date agreed to do the work. Terry turned up on time, prepared the area, and completed the work within the agreed timeframe. We needed our bedroom ceiling (patchy Artex) replaced/skimmed to a smooth plaster finish. Terry gave us an estimate, a planned completion date, and stuck to both. Terry was easy to reach leading up to the agreed date and turned up on time on the agreed date. As he's been plastering for many years, he makes it look so easy and produces an excellent finish. I messed him a round a bit by adding extra work which resulted in him having to come back a few weeks later because he didn't want to let the next customer down. Terry re-plastered a bedroom (walls and ceiling) for us. Terry was prompt and professional and works to a very high standard. He clearly knows exactly what he is doing. Plastering can be messy work but Terry shows us how to do a job like this in a mess-free way (Thanks!) I won't hesitate to call him again for when our next room needs some attention.

Terry plastered several large ceilings and walls in our house. He was always punctual and professional and his plastering is excellent. He is also knowledgeable about general building work. And he's a lovely guy! Terry brings his own dust sheets but worth putting your own ones down as well as plaster dust is very fine.

When we contacted Terry about replacing our living room ceiling and coving and replastering walls his response was very prompt and he quickly visited to look at the work required and send us a quote. Inevitably taking down and replacing a ceiling is a very messy job, but he did his best to minimise the dust and did a good clean up at the end of the job. The quality of his work is excellent, we are very pleased with the result and felt that the price charged was good value. Terry is very pleasant and easy to get along with we have no hesitation in recommending him.

Terry had done work at our house a couple of years ago so we knew the quality of his plastering. We had a project to re-furb our hall stairs and landing which involved getting rid of the artex ceiling in the hall and landing and then skimming the walls as they were in a poor state. Terry then had to return after the staircase was fitted to make good several areas affected by the staircase fitting. All work, including the quotation, was carried out on time and to a high standard. While plastering is a messy job, we were impressed with the care taken to protect carpets and the old staircase. We now have a superb ceiling and wall surface and the painter was really impressed with the work. Terry is easy to work with and has far more experience in plastering than we could ever use. For us, a big job well done, on time and to budget. We will use Terry again on the next project we undertake.
