My summerhouse door had a split near the hinge. I thought I would need a new door. (I didn't). Tony had a look and explained what he intended to do. It was a first class repair, and he even adjusted the door so it closes much easier. I am very pleased with the result. Very helpful, and everything left tidy.

I discovered Tony through a friend who recommended him as he had undertaken work at his property, so on that advice I had Tony install a new American white oak mopstick handrail which turned at two angles to follow the angles at the foot of the stairs. Tony then removed the old painted staircase handrail, spindles and baserail - he then cut down the newel post and installed an adapter to accept the new round oak vertical section and then proceeded to install all the necessary mopstick bannister handrail and stainless steel spindles. I’m very pleased with the final installation and can now ‘ski’ up the stairs having handrails both sides. Tony removed all timber waste from site, vacuumed and removed his dust sheets. Tony was very methodical and listened to any comments put before him. Highly recommended and likeable and would use again as I’m considering replacing my internal doors. Tony likes UB40, cheese on toast and Yorkshire Tea - moo milk but no sugar.

Tony works to very high standard. We called on him to repair some damaged wood panels in the kitchen following water damage and we were so impressed with the workmanship that we decided to have him return to install seven new internal oak doors. Tony did an excellent job and he returned promptly to make some minor adjustments to a couple of doors after we had new flooring laid. Tony is very reliable and tidy and we would not hesitate to use him again.

I have used Tony many times over the years for various jobs and have never been disappointed with the result. He is honest and helpful and listens to what you want. This time I threw him a curve ball. I needed a cover and a tiled roof and support made to go over an antique well head. I described how I wanted it to look and he worked out how to do it, never having done anything similar. He stopped and asked at every stage so there were no nasty surprises just a lovely authentic looking result. He is a tidy workman which I very much appreciate. His prices are fair and I can heartily recommend him.

Tony fitted my job into his busy schedule. My mum needed an alteration on her stairs to accommodate a stairlift. He was friendly, turned up on time and his work was excellent. Would certainly use him again.

Tony removed and installed some new skirting in our bedroom along a couple of walls including around a chimney breast. He did the job exactly as I expected and to a much higher standard than my moderate DIY skills could have achieved. Very satisfied and pleased that I used him, probably saving money in the long run. Tony has a nice personable manner about him, tidied up after and I will definitely use again for any similar work.

Tony spent full day working to install five new doors and box in new boiler. He did a great job to a high quality. Work recommend.
