Maintenance Guys, got back to me the other two company’s didn’t. Ellis came and gave me a quote. Really nice, straight talking guy. Called and fixed date, time. Really tough for all equipment, tools as I’m up four flights of stairs. Plus his own vacuum! All cleaned up around. A v heavy cupboard door rehung. Kitchen door top sanded so it closes properly. Old wall and sink cupboard doors replaced. Ellis had to go and get the wood cut for them. All fixed. Good hinges plus silvery cupboard door knobs. Lovely. Good price. Happy to pay. Ellis would only charge for time here! Not for getting wood cut etc.

I found the Maintenance Guys through Which Trusted Traders. We needed both an electrician and a gas engineer because we were having a new dual fuel cooker installed. It required a 32 amp socket and 6 ml cable to be installed as well as the existing gas cooker to be disconnected so it could be removed and the new one reconnected after delivery. Maddie in the office was really helpful in booking and coordinating the guys that we needed. We were really pleased with the professionalism of the guys and the quality of the work they did. Both Christian, the electrician, and Greg, the gas fitter identified other problems and issues that needed resolving and they were able to straightaway sort these out and fix them. A gas issue required Jamie (the owner?) to visit and the Maintenance Guys were able to complete the necessary worth quickly and competently. I have no hesitation in recommending the Maintenance Guys. We were very happy with all the work they did for us. They were extremely competent, friendly and very capable.

This company is a rare jewel in the trade. Punctual, hardworking and skilled professionals that are gifted problem solvers and most importantly, honest and cost efficient. You're in safe hands with these guys!

I found the whole experience with The Maintenance Guys very satisfactory. I never felt under pressure to have the work done. The work needed was explained clearly. Options where presented in a manner that meant I was able to choose the amount of work/expenditure I could manage and budget for.

Both workmen were highly proficient and very knowledgeable. The carpenter was meticulous in searching for further bits of rotten wood as well as removing and replacing the original piece. The painter then did a thorough and careful job to complete the work.

I cannot recommend these 'Guys' enough. When my boiler pressure kept falling and I had no heating or hot water, I naturally went to my insurers for help. After sending out no less than 4 engineers who all gave me different interpretations of the problem and suggested different solutions-some very expensive, including replacing my 2 year old boiler, I lost faith and turned to a Which accredited firm. I found The Maintenance Guys to be courteous, prompt, efficient, hardworking and they kept me informed throughout. Importantly, they were very thorough. They started at the beginning , checking the boiler thoroughly and found it was in perfect working order and the problem was somewhere else in the system. They then checked absolutely everything and repaired small problems as they went. They eventually found the major leak which was in a relatively inaccessible area but they managed to find a very good method of repair without needing the major works I was fearing. They made good and cleared up thoroughly afterwards. Greg and Jamie are an excellent team, and I trusted them completely, not only with the job but also in my house. Now, a month after completion of the work the system remains up and running, works perfectly and I haven't had to boost the pressure once.

The installation was completed quickly and efficiently. All aspects were explained clearly. Although it was quite a small job, I felt it was treated seriously and considerately. With a little more communication upfront, I would have given 5 stars across the board.

It was the first time I’ve used TMG and shall certainly be using them again. From first contacting them, they were easy and friendly to deal with via email/text/phone. Their prices are fair for London and Greg was professional and very careful with not bashing any walls when removing the broken-up cupboard and tidied up well. He arrived promptly and did the job in the time estimated and the final price was slightly cheaper than quoted, as only one person was needed instead of two. As it was a small job, I was fortunate they could do it the same week. I would highly recommend them - good handymen are hard to find these days. Thank you Greg!

We just had Christian install a backlit art piece and a bathroom cabinet. He couldn't have been more professional and friendly. Everything was cleaned up, he asked if we were happy with the work. He did a fantastic job, was extremely polite and we couldn't recommend him enough. Thanks for doing a great job - would use Christian and TMG again 100% Cheers
