Thorner Flooring completely transformed the upstairs of my house. Craig brought samples of different flooring to the house and gave helpful considered advice about choices. He and his colleague repaired poor condition floorboards and skirting and laid pale grey laminate to four bedrooms and the landing and a grey patterned vinyl to the bathroom and en suite toilet room. It looks lovely. They took a lot of trouble to ensure that the boards and vinyl were laid properly and worked hard to get everything done in the timescale agreed. Craig also gave a lot of his time to give good advice about other flooring work. Really pleased with the work and will definitely use Thorner Flooring in the future.

New carpet to hall, stairs and landing completed in one day - all within two weeks of original quotation! Included removal and shortening of doors, fitting door plates, disposal of old carpet and underlay and even fixing a sticking front entrance door which was not part of the quote - free of charge. Completely restored my faith in British craftsmanship. Well done Craig and his team.

We are returning customers for Thorner Flooring Services. When we contacted Craig, he was quick to call round and provide an estimate for the work. He appreciated that some work needed to be completed before the kitchen carpet could be fitted. As it was a small job we were flexible for Craig to fit in with other work. As usual Craig and his colleague cleared away and left the house clean and tidy. Invoice was reasonable and as expected. After fitting a new fire and decorating, a new lounge carpet was the final piece of the jigsaw and again we turned to Craig at Thorner Flooring to supply it. Craig and Brad were super helpful taking apart and moving furniture for us and the carpet fitting was professional as usual. Craig and his colleague fitted two bedroom floors with their oak flooring. What a fantastic job they did and the work was carried out to such a high standard. Old carpets removed and taken away. Having moved into the property last January I was alarmed to discover after three months water damage hidden under the fitted carpet outside the bathroom. As a DIY ingenue this was going to be a project for the professionals. Enter Thorner Flooring Services. The wooden flooring they have installed is superb. The quality of service is superb. They are superb.

We required removal of all existing carpets from Hall stairs and landing . The hallway was then to have a wooden floor laid, with replacement carpets for stairs and landing. We found Craig’s company via the internet, noting that he was a Which? trusted trader. When asked to attend to inspect the job and give us a price, including selection of timber and carpets, he came to see us within a few days and arrived on time. We were impressed with his obvious knowledge of his subject and the helpful advice when making our choices. An estimate for the work, accompanied by clear and comprehensive terms and conditions were sent us quickly. Of particular note was his advice in relation to some cables laid beneath the existing carpet where he made it clear that in order to do a proper job of the hallway flooring the cables would need to be removed rather than attempt to keep things as they were. Having accepted his quote Craig and his colleague agreed a date for carrying out the job and arrived promptly on the due date. Over the next couple of days the work was done to an excellent standard and to the agreed price. We would thoroughly recommend the company in carrying out flooring work.
