These guys took control of all my flooring needs in my newly renovated bungalow which made the whole process go smoothly. These people are exceptional. They have laid a new hardwood floor in our lounge. We are absolutely delighted with the result. Craig was a good listener and understood what we wanted. Craig provided a prompt quote, superb choice of carpets to choose from but gave good advice as to what to go for, to carpet our stairs. Beautiful job, well fitted into all the doorways on the landing & even into the airing cupboard! Everything tidied up after fitting, no mess for us to dispose of. Have used Craig before & would definitely do so again.

Craig offered really useful advice about the type of floors available for our kitchen. He and Andy did an excellent and very efficient job with the removal of the old floor and fitting the new one, including sorting unforeseen issues with the old floor, which they solved with no fuss. It was a very positive experience and their friendliness and helpfulness made it a pleasure to have them in our house. And the new floor looks great! We will certainly go to Craig for any future flooring needs.

We wanted a carpet for our new garden studio and Craig was helpful throughout the process. We chose a pattern that we felt matched the colours of the garden and are delighted with the result and Craig's speed of service following a minor problem we had with the studio company.

Craig and Brad put wood flooring throughout our ground floor. We were away while they did the work. From the start Craig was in touch, sent photos to keep us up to date on progress. He did a great job and we are very happy with the result. He also rings when he says, turns up when he says, very reliable. Any problems are dealt with as he goes along and he attends to every detail. Excellent.

Craig went out of his way to help us to decide what was best in replacing all the carpets in the house. He was patient and attended to small details with concern for the environment. He really cared for his workmanship and the welfare of his customer. True British workmanship that we can be proud of and I felt he was God sent to us to do such a great job. Would 5 stars be enough? Craig and Brad have done the most amazing job. Pretty much every floor replaced throughout our entire house and the work and attention to detail is amazing. Not only this, but Craig and Brad are top guys and a pleasure to have in the house - they even did the washing up!!

Bedroom carpet fitted, Craig also fixed several dodgy floorboards and moved and put back all the furniture. They even made the bed! Arrived on time, friendly and helpful and left the place spotless, removed all the waste and hoovered the stairs. Definitely recommend.

Craig and Brad replaced the wooden flooring in the kitchen. From start to finish they were polite and professional and their attention to detail was second to none. They cleaned up as they went along and removed all the old wooden flooring from site. First class job lads. Will use again and recommend.

I'd highly recommend Thorner Flooring Services, and would rate higher than five stars if I could. I hired Craig to carpet two bedrooms, landing and stairs, and living room. Craig provided great recommendations for what flooring would suit my living room and I'm really pleased with the oak finish, and also recommended a mat finish for my doorway, which is super practical. There were some complications due to issues preceding Craig's work, but Craig was took the time to provide solutions which meant that my living room and the flooring provided by Craig looks amazing. Craig also took the time to provide hints and tips. Thanks Craig and team. Would definitely hire again.

Had a carpet fitted in a bedroom - everything was superb from start to finish. Craig came out to measure up and see what I wanted; was able to get exactly the carpet I wanted. They came to fit the carpet, made sure the other carpets were covered and everything was tidy. Took such great care of the newly decorated room and took their time to do a really high quality job. It looks great, feels great. No bumps or snags, no scuffs on the skirting. Genuinely really happy and appreciative of the job and will definitely be using them again for other carpets and flooring.

We were very impressed with Craig and his mate, who were very professional in the way he carried out the work. He removed all the old including gripper and started from scratch. I have had many carpets laid during my lifetime but never had a carpet fitted with so much attention to detail. He even shaved the door bottoms where required. The work took two days to complete and as soon as one room was finished everything was cleared away before starting another. I would certainly recommend this company to all.

We are very please with our end results of uplifting the carpet and supplying us with a new look floor in the Lounge and Kitchen, which we are using them again for our spare bedroom, to be done the same. They were very efficient with their work and friendly. We would recommend them to anyone. We have also had the main bedroom and hallway done previously (in our flat) and it makes it look bigger. They cleaned up after they finished the job, and put the furniture back where it belonged, all on schedule and budget were right.

Craig and Brad were absolutely fantastic start to finish, arrived bang on time, no hassle at all, and fitted great new carpets to the two bedrooms. They worked hard and did a brilliant job getting the two rooms done in one day. They even removed all the heavy furniture including the wardrobes and bed which was a massive help. Absolutely marvellous from start to finish. Craig is very friendly and supplied lots of samples for us to choose from and left them with us so we could check in daylight and at night. The underlay was carefully chosen to let the wooden floor underneath a breath. The room was emptied and refurbished by Craig and his workmate. The rest of the house flooring was protected. The work was carried out efficiently. Just fantastic from start to finish. And reasonably priced!!!

Just had new carpets in our through lounge, snug, hall, stairs & landing. We chose a crofter 50oz heritage 80% wool carpet with the help and expertise from Craig. They replaced all the underlay, gripper rods and planed the doors to fit. Excellent workmanship, can't rate them highly enough.

Thorner Flooring have recently fitted three bedroom carpets for us. We have used many carpet suppliers and fitters over the years and can honestly say that this company is second to none! From the start Craig was extremely informative and helpful. We agreed a price and fixed a date for the work to be done. Both the price and the time taken for the job was exactly as we had been told. Craig and his co-worker were both pleasant and polite. We had been concerned about the upheaval regarding moving furniture and dismantling the three double beds but Craig said to leave it to them. We were astounded! The job was completed and bedrooms left clean and hoovered with the minimum amount of disruption. Even the landing, hallway and staircase was hoovered! We will definitely be recommending them to family and friends - indeed anyone we come across that is looking for carpet suppliers.
