Installation of a 4KW Solar Panel Array and Inverter. This was carried out over a tricky large conservatory. Sales person was surprisingly not pushy and appeared to be very honest and sincere. His level of knowledge was absolutely excellent and he was able to explain which options would be best suited to our needs. In the end we were offered an excellent quote that was significantly cheaper than another much larger firm that also quoted. From paying the initial deposit to completed installation only took about 3 weeks. Scaffolding was erected very quickly over our conservatory. There was a slight delay on solar panels as they were held up at customs, but Tile Energy kept us informed frequently and were very apologetic for something that was essentially outside of their control. Once the panels arrived, they were installed over 2 days with the inverter. I have to say I was impressed with how neat and tidy everything was. The small amount of exposed cabling to the downstairs circuit box was very neatly pinned to the edge of the roofline. The work in the loft was equally neat and tidy, they even fitted extra socket extensions so that the monitoring system could use my powerline WiFi adaptors. After installation, the salesman returned on a Saturday to demonstrate the use of the system to myself and my partner. This was helpful as I was working in London during the week so could not see it at the time of installation. I have heard some horror stories about solar installations, but I really have to say that my experience with Tile Energy was professional and fast with good communications. The system was installed exactly as expected, there were no hidden extra charges and I think I got excellent value for money. They exceeded my expectations. I've had the system for about 9 months now. Very happy with it. The system came with an app that constantly provides data on how much energy is being generated by each panel. On one occasion, my home wi-fi fell over and Tile Energy rang me to ask if everything was ok because they could see that the online communications were not updating the data feed. Highly recommended.
