I chose Tile Energy because they gave me the most information on the work involved and were a reasonable price. I was also given advice on how to get the most out of the system once it was installed, which has enabled me to cut my electricity bill considerably. I felt that a genuine effort was made to give me the system which best suited my needs. The work was completed in a day, in the baking heat. All the men were very pleasant and helpful and worked hard, leaving everything clean and tidy, and the roof looks good. I have had a lot of questions, before and after the installation. Leke seems to know his business very well and is ready to spend time giving me the information I need.

We choose few PV panel installers from Which Trusted Trade in addition to Tile Energy. The sales person Leke visited our site before he gave us his quote. We have 3 phase supply this made the installation more complex. Leke proved to be knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful, he explained how the system will work and was up to date with regulations, tarif, etc. Nothing seemed a problem to him. He informed us of what changes or modifications we need to our electric system and he took measurement and photos of the roof etc and checked for any potential problems. When he sent us his quote, we were confident that quote was realistic with no surprises and it was reasonable too. The system was installed two weeks later on schedule and the installer Andy and his helper were very focused, knowledgeable, courteous and keen to do a good job; We just wish more trade people can be like them. The whole installation took 1 day with no disturbance to us at all. 2 days after installation Leke contacted us to say that he has been monitoring the system from his end and he can see that it is not working as it should do. He asked us few questions, after diagnosis he identified the problem and put us in contact with the software person who fixed it there and then. We are so happy with Leke's service and Andy + his helper that we can honestly & confidently recommend this company and the team to our friends and family. Thank you Leke, Thank you Andy + helper.

During the quotation phase the sales person was not pushy and answered all questions put to him. Time from acceptance of quote to installation was about a week which personally I found really good. Installation was done very efficiently and neatly with the installer answering all my questions and subsequently showing me how everything worked. Really happy with all aspects of purchase and install, would definitely recommend this company.

The 3 Tile Energy employees Andrew, Daniel, and Kane, arrived early at the time expected, got to work with minimum fuss, and completed the job by early afternoon. They were very nice people, and a pleasure to have around. They coped admirably with the debris left by pigeons who had nested under the PV panels, which couldn't have been a pleasant job! It would have been helpful to have had an advance written commitment to clean the panels of any staining, and to replace any broken tiles under the panels. I believe they did this anyway, but an end of installation photograph would have been a nice professional touch. This is meant as a constructive comment, and not as a criticism. Overall very happy with the end result, and I look forward to monitoring the ongoing performance of my PV panels!

Overall the contractor was highly professional in both the initial consultation and final installation. As a retired engineer, my questions were answered in detail during a 2 hour initial visit by the technical director - previous visits by other contractors were lightweight sales people. The quotation was detailed and competitive. The original installation date was delayed due to the COVID lockdown but we were kept informed of the changes. The installation team completed the work in less than a day and were very tidy and aware of the need for social distancing. We have recommended the contractor to a number of friends who have expressed interest in a similar installation.

Tile energy were asked to install a charger for our electric vehicle, linked to our solar panels. The quote was competitive compared to two others and the work was carried out when I was told it would be. There were some initial issues with the install, but as soon as these were realised they were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Tile Energy.

I had Tile Energy quote for and then install a 5.4KW solar PV system on my garage roof. They were by some distance the cheapest quote. I had to delay the project/installation by a year, but a no point did they become pushy or overbearing. Their service was at all time friendly and attentive. They responded promptly to questions and were flexible when they needed to be (they even helped me out at short notice when my electrician failed to turn up). The system was installed on time and is functioning perfectly.

The decision to buy the installation through Tile Energy was easy to make after my initial meeting with the company’s representative, Leke Alabi, who provided detailed answers to every question I had as well as making a number of recommendations that I had not previously considered. The company also had several positive recommendations on Which? and checkatrade.com but after meeting with Leke, it was crystal-clear that the company totally understood the products they installed and my own personal customer requirements. The presales literature was very professional and Leke was very quick to respond to any questions I had prior to signing the contract. The installation is now almost one year old and during that time, I have monitoring the production and consumption, all of which is easy to do using the supplied apps. I have also changed my electricity provider tariffs a few times to try and discover which give me the maximum savings but, as things stand, the ROI of the entire installation will be almost exactly as Tile Energy predicted. My monthly electricity bill, including full home-charging of my EV (approx. 25 miles per day) is now around £40 from Octopus Energy, using the tariffs mentioned in point 3 above. Previously, I had been paying £75 - £80 per month.
