Tincknells serves customers across Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Avon and south Gloucestershire. It’s already a well-known name in the South West, with a great reputation for integrity and customer service. Company director Rob Ormond and heating services manager Richard Beck both emphasise that Tincknells is a ‘modest’ company, concerned more with providing a good service than making a fuss about it. But its recent win could change all that.

Tincknell Heating Services is one wing of the long-established fuel business, Tincknell Fuels. ‘It’s a win for the industry,’ said Rob Ormond. ‘The fuel industry, which we’re part of, doesn’t always get the best press, but this is a really positive step.’

Replacement boiler from free standing to wall mounted. Keith, the engineer who did the initial survey, was knowledgeable and experienced. He clearly understood the complexity of the task. The quote arrived in a couple of days - the most detailed quote we have ever seen. A slight query - emailed, was answered by phone within 10 minutes. Keith, Lee, Harry were highly skilled. Very efficient and worked hard. Every detail was discussed with us first. No detail was overlooked. We are very pleased with the end result.

Excellent job. New Worcester Greenstar 35/50 kw oil filled boiler fitted. The men were very kind and considerate and explained everything brilliantly. Arrived punctually on both days 15th/16th May 2018.

The smart young men, Keith Davey, Liam Wooley & Liam brown arrived on time & got the job of draining radiators off to a good start. They moved various bits of furniture carefully and did a great job cleaning up when finished. They quietly got on with the different jobs. In all it made for an enjoyable experience. Should we need more radiators fitted in the future (hope not) we'll know where to come.

We contacted Tincknells for advice regarding a noisy condensing oil boiler. Two other engineers had failed to find a solution but Lee came up with the perfect solution within minutes. He refused to accept any payment for this service. We were very impressed with his professional knowledge and manner.
