We contacted Which for registered electricians in our area , TJG Electric Ltd , was the company that stood out . Without any hesitation we would highly recommend them . Very professional , discussed all aspects of the work at each stage . quality of the work was of the highest standard , and was completed within the time frame . We are so impressed-we definitely use TJG again .

Used Tom, many times a couple of years ago and found him excellent. This time he was again great! Communication first class, attention to detail superb and he always adds value. In this case I had a pair of wall lights moved and he tided up the wallpaper once he’d finished fitting them. He also has a very friendly personality and great punctuality.

This is the second time we’ve used Tom’s excellent service. The first occasion was having an electric connection from the consumer unit to the oven in the kitchen. Tom was very neat and his work was excellent. He also labelled all the fuses in the consumer unit so we could isolate as and when needed, which has proved invaluable. Most recently we needed a new pull switch in the bathroom, and re-wiring of a double socket in the kitchen. Both jobs done without delay as Tom brought the pull switch with him on the call out. Tom is an excellent worker, polite and the work he has carried out is to a high standard, would not use anyone else for electrical work. Thanks.

I've recently had an EV charger fitted by TJG Electrical and couldn't be happier. Tom came to assess what work needed doing and to work out the budget. On the day of the instillation Tom arrived when he said he would and all I had to do was to keep making a cup of tea while he cracked on with the job. On completion Tom explained everything to me and even set up the app on my phone and said if I had any problems not to hesitate to get in touch. Tom came to do a small electrical job after we had a new hot water cylinder fitted. He came when he said he would, did the job quickly and left no mess. He has done work for us before, he is a lovely guy, helpful and friendly and we would highly recommend him. We will use him for all our household electrical needs.

At every stage, from initial online enquiries, to a site visit, to the completion of the works itself, they have been a pleasure to work with. The shower in my house had 'died of old age' and my wife and daughter were keen to get it replaced quickly. I found TJG electrical via the Which website. Tom was very helpful on the phone and arranged to look at the shower the next day. He explained clearly what types of shower are now available and left me with a couple of options to discuss with my family. Once we had decided, he arranged a convenient date for the job, which also involved him getting a plumber. They both turned up on time and worked efficiently, completing the job and clearing up afterwards. My wife and daughter are both delighted with the new shower. The price was very reasonable and I have already paid the invoice which was clear and sent promptly, along with the necessary certificate for the electrical work. I would certainly use this trader again, and have, in fact, just booked him to do the electrical checks on a house that my daughter is looking to buy.

The installation was completed at the agreed date and time at the agreed price. All of my queries were answered and I was shown how to use the equipment without any due haste. All mess due to drilling was cleaned at the time of completion. All-in-all, a most satisfactory and professional visit, and when required, I will be happy to use the services of TJG Electrical Ltd. again.

Tom responded quickly to my enquiry, helped with deciding on where to put the sockets, suggested fixing a shelf too. He was so caring about his customer (an elderly, vulnerable man). He was flexible about timings and arrived at the agreed time, was efficient, cleaned up after himself, and did a great job. He charged exactly what was quoted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Can't thank Tom enough for the fantastic work completed to install a new EV charger at our home. Install included new armoured cabling, CT clamps, a rewire of our garage and the EV charger. The work is incredibly neat and tidy, with all aspects explained fully and set up ready for use. Tom's communication throughout has been first class, responding quickly and working around dates to fit in with the arrival of our car. Very friendly and hard working, we would recommend Tom to everyone.

Tom fitted a new fuse box and undertook an electrical safety test for the whole house. It was a really excellent piece of work, carried out on time and in budget. Tom did an excellent job removing an old induction hob and fitting a new one. He’s a pleasant man, extremely competent and he took care to treat our home with respect. The job was soon completed and the kitchen left spotless. He then tested the appliance and ensured I was OK with the new controls. Thank you Tom, we’ll be back!

Tom was contacted after searching which trusted trader for the above job.He was courteous listened to issue, emailed me with a reply promptly and work done extremely well on the date scheduled.He also fixed a light in our kitchen at no extra cost. He adised me on suitable bulbs for efficiency. I am very pleased with his work and may use him again if the need arises.

Tom has done a number of electrical jobs for us over the last year, most recently fitting a Myenergi ev charger. He always does a thoroughly good, professional job. TJG is possibly not the cheapest electrical provider, but the quality is such that it is probably the most cost effective. He has a friendly manner, very helpful and reliable.

Tom installed my nest doorbell last August, he did a fantastic job of wiring it into my main fuse box with no visible wiring he repaired the drill holes very well. A neat and tidy job by a pleasant professional. When I changed broadband provider in 2023 I lost connection to the doorbell, Tom came back out to resolve this for me, and while here very kindly also connected my tv and internal camera. I cannot recommend Tom enough. Professional and kind.

My wife and I wanted a modern, state of the art home intruder alarm in our recently purchased new build property. After speaking with TJG, we were advised that a Texecom alarm would best suit our needs. After numerous back and forth sms messages (after COB in some cases) with our desired spec inc mobile phone connectivity, door & window contacts, bespoke bell box design & dual keypads, TJG ordered our alarm system and came to install it on a red hot Saturday in September. Tidy, smart, professional, transparent all the things required of a local tradesman. Thorough in depth programming of the keypads which was mind blowing and now all set up and working well, even went above and beyond and setup a night time part arm mode which we use now during the evening leaving our Cavapoochon to roam around freely with the pet friendly PIRs. It was even suggested to us about the possibility of a surge protection device which was missing from the original developers spec to be fitted in our Hager consumer unit. Would highly recommend, with a select few of our new neighbours also now wanting a similar home intruder alarm set up (for those that didn’t spec an alarm from the developers long list of expensive optional extras). Tom was an extremely diligent, hardworking professional electrician. But in addition to being beyond excellent in every respect throughout the nearly 12 months of my bungalow's major renovation, Tom was so much more. His communication style was friendly, thoughtful, and he always returned calls promptly. There was so much electrical work I needed to do before I could move in that Toms's insight and ideas were invaluable. For example in relation to the Internet, I didn’t really know what I wanted, so Toms's suggestions helped me achieve far in excess of what I thought was possible.
