I would not hesitate to recommend TrustGuard! TrustGuard recently carried out and inspection and some damp proofing at my two bed ground floor flat. I asked for someone to come out urgently and on a certain day. Don was able to come out at this time and did a very thorough inspection of my whole flat, using the latest technology and taking the time to explain all aspects of the problem to me and the options for repair. Don did not recommend any unnecessary work, and in fact tried to talk me into trying a few "self help" remedies in respect of condensation before going to the expense of installing a PIV unit. I took on board Don's advice and decided to deal with some penetrating damp first and review the condensation problem over time. Don was then to complete the job within a week of coming to the property to give me a quote, at a time and day suitable for me. His time estimate (that the job would take only one day) was accurate. TrustGuard charged a reasonable price comparable with other businesses and I felt I got good value for money for the work. The quality of the work was completed to a very high standard. Considering the dust involved in removing plaster Don covered all of my furnishings and left my flat in a very neat and tidy state. All rubbish was taken away - something not every tradesman does these days! Overall I am very impressed with TrustGuard and I will definitely be using them again on other jobs I need doing.

Don was one of several companies we had out to look at a damp problem we had. He did the most thorough inspection of the traders who came and explained what was wrong, why he came to that conclusion and what needed done. He was friendly, professional and his price was very competative. The work was completed within the time scale he gave and he made sure we were happy with everything before he left.
