Wisteria Kitchens Ltd

In 2020 we had a bathroom installed by Wisteria which we were delighted with. Last week a small leak appeared and I phoned Wisteria to recommend a plumber to solve the problem. The same day Russell was sent out to check the plumbing and he arranged for it to be repaired the following day by Stuart their plumber. He arrived on time and carried out the work, at the same time fixing a couple of minor problems that were the result of wear and tear. I never expected this level of service as from past experience, once a job has been completed, other companies do not want to know. Full marks to Sam and his team for the quality of their work and their commitment to customer service.

On two previous personal customer recommendations we asked Sam at Wisteria to make suggestions for a rather tired looking small kitchen. At no point did we feel pushed to get the most expensive & instead we felt free to choose what was right for the space. The process was enjoyable and from then on everything was done exactly as needed. Mike put in the units with care & craftsmanship. Nothing was too much trouble and he cleared up everything as he went. At the end of the fitting every scrap of rubbish was collected. What Wisteria does is to provide quality, integrity & only leaving when the kitchen was clean & ready to use. Their after sales care is exceptional & Sam is always ready to answer any questions. We are so pleased we used Wisteria & cannot recommend them highly enough.

We chose Wisteria as we had used them previously for the bathroom of a family member. We spoke with Sam on the phone and sent dimensions. He visited us a few days later with a draft design (which we liked) and, following a very helpful visit to the showroom, we agreed upon a design and a price. No upselling, it all seemed pretty decent value for money. Fitting couldn't be done for a while as they were busy - a good sign in our opinion. On fitting day our assigned fitter, Darren, arrived. At this point we want to state that we've spent most of our life working in customer service. We are very picky about things being done right and about our perception of what good customer service is. We needn't have worried about Darren. He is, by a very large margin, the best fitter that we have ever had work on our property. His work standard, his attention to detail, and the way he conducts himself is exemplary. In the three and a half weeks which has been assigned to this work (it's a big job!) we haven't found a single thing that has caused us to question what has been done. Even a minor snag, one phone call and he was back immediately. He is, very much, the star of the show. It isn't a one man "show" : Fraser, the plasterer and Lee, the electrician, have also done excellent work and of course, Sam, the business owner, is very professional too. We chose well !

So glad we chose Wisteria to do the work from the various quotes we had as they were faultless and we don't say that often. Special mention should go to Darren our allocated fitter whose care and attention to detail is outstanding and who is the true definition of a skilled tradesman - a real gem. From our excellent design appointments with Sam the owner, through the various skilled trades provided by Tom, Fraser, Graham, Norm and Darren, and project managed by Russ, everything went like clockwork. We felt as if we were in the hands of very capable professionals who kept us updated with what would be happening at every stage. It was a four week project as it involved taking down a wall and building a new one before the bathroom fittings could go in. Everything was done with care, even to the extent of having special sticky-back carpet protection on the stairs and landing. It was also great to have a visit by Sam and Russ after the work was completed to make sure that we were totally happy with everything - which we were. We absolutely love our new en-suite and could not be happier - it feels like a tranquil and luxurious haven. A very big thank you to you all for a job so well done.

The service I have received from Wisteria has been amazing. Our new kitchen, utility room and shower room are absolutely stunning. The whole team have been so professional. My thanks go to all of them from Sam who created the design, Russel who project managed the whole process, Lee who was our fitter and went above and beyond to ensure a fabulous finish and not forgetting Steve who did all the odd jobs and the decorating. Wisteria Kitchens were fantastic. They transformed our kitchen and dining rooms into a single space and completed everything to a high standard. They offered excellent advice and listened to what we wanted. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. A couple of the doors had slight nicks on them and they were replaced. The aftercare service has been great too. I can't rate them highly enough. Thank you for giving us a dream kitchen!

Having had Wisteria recommended to us, we popped in to the showroom and loved what we saw! The whole process, from planning our new kitchen, adhering to our budget, having all the measurements done, choosing cabinets and eventually having it fitted was very straight forward and stress free! We had a good idea what we liked and Sam came up with a few more! It has been lovely to deal with Sam and his team, all very professional and knowledgable. Any back up care has been superb and fast and I would in a particular like mentioned Russell and Pete, whose work and commitment to the job have been great!

Very happy with our newly refitted downstairs cloakroom. Fairly priced quality products, and well fitted by the wisteria team, which was project managed from beginning to end. Tidy and courteous job. Would I use wisteria again? Yes. Would I recommend to others? Yes.

We have been very pleased with our brand new kitchen which was designed and installed by Wisteria. We wanted as far as possible to replicate our last kitchen in Surrey, which was relatively new when we sold the house, as such, we were able to give Wisteria a definitive idea from the start as to what we wanted, and this meant that there was little in the way of the juggling of ideas, although Craig made and designed in some valuable suggestions, including the bricking up of an unneeded window to increase wall cupboard space, and taking out a very unsightly boiler cupboard and turning it into another kitchen cupboard. He also introduced us to more up to date cupboard and drawer shelving and inserts that increased our storage space. All conceivable trades were involved in the build, and these were bought onsite as required, with no waiting around to complete other work elsewhere, and the management of those trades was dovetailed almost perfectly. The guy who who managed the project was Darren Meredith, Wisteria Fitter, and I must say that I have never met a more meticulous and professional Tradesman than Darren, who was scrupulously tidy and very honest and accurate as to when work was to be done and completed. He bought on the materials and other trades in a seamless manner and managed our expectations realistically ensuring that work kept moving forward. All the Trades that worked on the project were excellent and we couldn’t have wished for a better team.

We contacted Wisteria as a result of a recommendation from a very close friend who had herself had a walk in shower to replace her bath and update the rest of her bathroom. After phoning Craig he visited us within 24 hours and listened to our needs as we elderly and required a long walk in shower , not wet room, with a seat and hand rail. After explaining to Craig he helped us along with his knowledge until a vision of the completed work was finally settled upon. Work started on 5th July, as given, Tom arrived and ripped out old bath and tiles quickly and quietly, and really got on with the job without fuss. At each stage we consulted to see if it was to our needs and satisfaction. The electrician came for a day and played his part in the scheme of things . The work was completed in a week to our satisfaction. Tom was a good clean quiet worker whom cleaned up after each day and left us with a new shower room ready for use.

On recommendations of a few people, we tasked Sam back in January lockdown with creating a ‘luxury hotel standard’ bathroom and a similar en-suite replacing our dated rooms. It was a bit tricky with email ping pong designing and quoting it and just a fleeting visit to the showroom. On his advice we sourced the wall and floor tiles from Tileflair who were also very good . Sam was very patient and flexible and listened to our requirements and made some good suggestions to us too. The designs made great use and created more space too. Russell project managed for us and he, along with Stuart who fitted both rooms, had a complete solution based attitude, never any issues that couldn’t be resolved. Quality of the work by Stuart was superb - incredibly conscientious, tidy and he paid great attention to detail in his work especially with tiling etc, and along with Neil the electrician was pleasant company to have in our home for a month whilst we were working from home. We love our bathrooms and highlights include the dimmer ceiling lights and sensor plinth lighting, the gorgeous double ended bath, powerful showers and the superb tiling. We highly recommend Wisteria, you pay more but for good reason - no hassle and a fantastic can do attitude by everyone. When we replace the kitchen we know where to go.

We engaged Wisteria to install a new kitchen and bathroom, create a new ensuite and fit flooring throughout most of the ground floor, as well as to replace all internal doors. Despite most of the planning having to be done via email due to the lockdown, Craig guided us expertly through the process, always responding promptly to emails and giving us helpful advice and suggestions. The team who carried out the work (Matt, Tim, Simon, Fraser, Tristan, Lee and the guy who fitted the doors - sorry, we can't remember his name!) were professional and hardworking as well as being cheerful and friendly. Russell, the project manager, made sure everything was completed on time and was always on the other end of the phone to answer any queries we had - nothing was too much trouble! Wisteria even did a few small extra jobs we asked them to do, going above and beyond! We are very pleased with the standard of work completed by the team at Wisteria and the service we received throughout, we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I wanted to take the opportunity to write a review on Wisteria. We completed our new build in December 2020. With so much choice in the market place where does one begin. Wisteria came out tops on our research. We met Sam the owner of this company at his showroom and it was the best decision to go with them. From start to finish everything has been first class from first meeting to completion. The quality of product is superb. We had a kitchen, bathroom, ensuites, cloakroom and bedroom products from them. Their installation is perfection using real craftsmen. Nothing was ever too much trouble if I needed help or assistance. Sam and his team are true professionals. I would whole heartedly recommend this company. I would add a special mention to Michelle who is a huge support to the team and is Sam’s wife. Their ethos to excellent customer service is spot on. We met up with Craig at Wisteria back in October 2020, to discuss various designs and options for our new kitchen and utility room. Straight away at our first meeting, not only did Craig but the whole company and showroom was extremely professionally run and gave us confidence with many choices for us to choose from and any design as well. On the 29th of October, we signed the contract to have all the work that was designed, quoted and agreed with by Craig. Wisteria started on Monday 18th January and throughout the build-up to the starting date, they continued to keep us informed of all that was happening with regards to our order and this is what we wanted out of a company like Wisteria and they achieved that totally 100%. All the work was completed within 5 weeks, exactly as they had agreed to finish on Friday 19th February. All three of the trades were excellent Graham installing the electrics, Fraser completing all the plastering and Mike who completely installed the kitchen, plumbing, flooring, painting and anything and everything else they were all brilliant. I have never known an installation as lengthy and involved with so many trades working so well together, it was a pleasure to have Wisteria in our home. We cannot speak too highly of the whole company and plus when our boiler decided to come to a dramatic end, they even sorted that out by recommending one of their own plumbers.

From the first meeting with Sam, we were sure that we had made the right choice with Wisteria. From beginning to end the service was professional, informative and friendly. The installation team were a joy to have in our home and their attention to detail and skill was incredible. I approached Wisteria on the recommendation of a friend. Having lived with a grim, dated and unpleasant bathroom I was initially baffled by the showroom displays. Craig was totally dedicated to making sure I made the right decisions to achieve the result I wanted. This level of customer support continued throughout the project. The progress was seamless, every attention was paid to detail and all of the team were pleasant to have in the house as well as being efficient and highly skilled. Totally professional! Very pleased we chose Wisteria to design and install our new kitchen. Design stage was excellent, taking on our ideas to establish a workable design. A very good selection of different kitchen unit manufacturers was made available to us to suit our budget. We were very happy with the chosen manufacturer and Wisterias final quote. Taking out the old kitchen was completed efficiently and the pre-build works (electrics, gas, plastering, etc) was undertaken by experienced tradesmen. The kitchen fitter was fantastic, extremely competent, tidy and respectful of our home. Finished kitchen looks superb, all we ever wished for. Customer service and contact was excellent throughout the process, our calls, queries were always answered quickly and efficiently. Fantastic Company with a great team of skilled trades people supporting them. Would certainly use Wisteria again and would recommend to my family and friends.

Our experience with Wisteria has been entirely positive & has exceeded expectation. Without exception, every one of the installation team has approached the project in a professional but friendly manner. Sam provided very useful suggestions together with clear designs and costings which made our decision making easy. His well grounded approach to our project stood out from the competition . The whole project was managed very efficiently by Russell . From the very first day it was evident that we had been presented with an absolute star in Mike Reynolds our kitchen fitter. His focus on quality together with a very positive work ethos left us confident that we would have an excellent outcome. Having the same person doing fitting, painting and tiling brings an ownership of quality to the whole job. Everything Mike did was first class with outstanding attention to detail. The plastering ( new ceiling & wall skims) by a very hard working Fraser was flawless & with electricians Lee & Tristan who even took the trouble to ensure that all the socket screws were lined up the same way ( call me picky) - you just know the job’s done right! We asked Sam to provide our dream kitchen with the minimum of hassle to us. The team at Wisteria did just that. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

We love our new kitchen. Great design and support from Craig. Electrics from Lee and plastering from Fraser excellent. Our fitter was Mat and he was superb. Russell project managed and kept all the plates spinning somehow. We were well supported and looked after. All emails answered, all phone calls answered or returned a.s.a.p. Nothing is too much trouble and this company goes above and beyond.

Thank you to all the staff at Wisteria especially Lee, who completely transformed my bathroom in the time frame proposed and within the estimated cost. The process was undertaken with complete professionalism, courtesty and finished to the highest standard. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a new en-suite bathroom fitted as we had had our new kitchen fitted 2 years earlier and were very pleased with Wisteria and the resultant kitchen then. Everyone was very friendly and reliable, especially as Covid was starting to get a hold. Wisteria went out of their way to get the bathroom finished at a difficult time, which could have dragged on for months with a lesser company. The design process was very good - sensible and realistic but with flair, and we were pleased that there was no hard sell on either occasion to buy more expensive units etc. After sales service is excellent and is a real strength of the company. Well done Wisteria!

The reason we chose Wisteria above any other company was the fact that they would arrange for individual trades when required, by project managing our whole renovation. From the moment we met Sam at the Wisteria showroom, he was not phased after we explained that we wanted to redesign and give a face lift to the whole living floor area; with a new bespoke Kitchen removing a partition wall to open up the space into our dining room, with new flooring and electrics. WC replaced, doors moved, ceilings plastered and modernising heating control and new electrics. They are also able to recommend other contractors if other trades are required such as painting, decorating or window fitting. They even manged to liaise with the stove fitting company, to be on site at the right time. Sam helped us to design a kitchen that gave us the Wow factor, just like the CAD design drawing. We have no hesitation in recommending Wisteria, they are a great team.

We are really happy with our new kitchen, and would definitely recommend Wysteria. The work was carried out to a high standard and on time. Having the kitchen fitted was surprisingly stress-free and any problem was dealt with quickly. All the team were friendly and professional. Special thanks to Lee, Russell and Sam.

I had a new kitchen and downstairs toilet area fitted. I was really impressed by the brilliant service and workmanship throughout. Everyone was really helpful and communicated throughout. Craig, especially, was excellent. From beginning to end he was so patient, kind and professional. I doubt whether I would have gone ahead without Craig’s input. There was a slight hiccup with the granite fitters but it was resolved very satisfactorily with Russell’s (site manager) input. I am so pleased with the kitchen and downstairs loo. Thank you Wisteria.
