Kiernan Day of WKD Electrical Specialists is the type of electrician we had hoped existed but despaired of ever finding. He was always prompt, kept us informed of progress with parts-ordering, and best of all was able to solve an annoying LED lights' issues in the cupboards. We highly recommend him.

Kierran responded within hours of my calling and sent a quote within 24 hours. We needed sockets raised, switches changed, a light moved and ceiling lights installed. He and his team came each day on time and they did a good job. They made good where they could. There were a few more jokes which needed to be filled in the bathroom then expected. The while jib however seems to have been done well.

Kiernan and colleagues have come twice this year, first to replace a socket behind the tumbler dryer, and then again to install a ceiling light in a new place. I had a problem with a light in the loo.I rang on Sunday afternoon and they called to fix it on Monday Pm. they were very helpful.

Contacted WKD electrical on a Saturday afternoon, had a response by Sunday morning, a quote by Tuesday and the job done by Wednesday. And that's because I wasn't available before then. WKD had to install and move ceiling lights in my bathroom and he covered my bathtub with a dust sheet so that I had no cleaning up to do afterwards. I felt I was being advised very well about the sagging ceiling and even though the job turned out not to be straight forward, the contractor found an efficient solution at no extra cost. I am very pleased with the result and will use the same company for future jobs.

I employed WKD to upgrade the consumer unit in my flat as well as carrying out remedial work on the wiring. The service was prompt and efficient, considerate and courteous. The price was pretty good too. Excellent. I would definitely recommend them.

Our cooker stopped working all of a sudden and we contacted WKD Electrical to investigate and find the cause for it. It turned out that there was a power cut somewhere on the cable connecting the cooker with the fuse box, due to a leak caused by a broken pipe under a cupboard in the kitchen. Fixing the pipe involves dismantling the cupboard, but we needed a quick and lasting fix, to enable us to use the cooker in the meantime. Since the cable was wired through the ceiling and walls, the best and easiest option was to make a brand new connection between the cooker and the fuse box. The cable was rewired on the ground floor, under the stairs and through the downstairs toilet into the kitchen. Kieran installed a new double socket inside the cupboard to connect the cooker and another double socket on the other side of the cooker, to connect the dishwasher and the lights, replacing the old sockets. Despite tricky working conditions, Kieran and his colleague Alan managed to do a very tidy job, encasing the cable all the way between the fuse box and the socket. He is NICEIC registered, which was important to us, to make sure health and safety regulations were followed. We would strongly recommend WKD Electrical for their professionalism, neat work, tidiness, reasonable price and overall attitude.

I can thorough recommend WKD - Kiernan & Michael put in a whole lot of sockets, a security light and an outdoor socket. They were clean, tidy, thoughtful and generally excellent.
