Woodright Construction are a true family business who provided a high quality service and workmanship throughout the construction of out kitchen extension and patio build. We love what they've done! Trust and communication are very important when you commit considerable funds to take on a project like this. We commissioned a unique design requiring 'out of the box' thinking to achieve our design intent, and of course, no building project goes 100% to plan so you need to know that you can discuss any issues and concerns openly - it really was a team effort. Ultimately, you get what you pay for, we made the right decision in working with Allister (the owner) and his team and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this building company. A real bonus in dealing with Allister at Woodright Construction is the you get to know the family and you get to work with a business that employs locally and who run an apprenticeship scheme to train the next generation of craftsmen.

Woodwright Construction did a fantastic job for us. They pulled down the old extension built by the previous owners and created a double height extension. This consists of a kitchen / diner downstairs and an additional bedroom & en-suite upstairs. They also reconfigured the old kitchen into a utility room and downstairs cloakroom. Al was brilliant - always leaving a clean and tidy site, excellent at communicating with us and the neighbours, high quality of workmanship all-round, and generally great! He managed all of our requirements, including a bespoke cat flap through the extension wall! Highly recommended. We will use him again for any further building work we require.

Woodwright Construction built a kitchen extension for us including new fitted kitchen, living area, wood floors, raised Velux skylight window, utility room and downstairs toilet/shower room. The work was carried out to a very high standard and we have been delighted with the results. The Woodwright team were incredibly clean and tidy with their work and Allister was very helpful answering any questions and queries that I had, ( I did ask a lot! ) Allister has since taken on further work for us, which again we have been very pleased with. All work has been completed within timescales at very competitive prices. Overall, We would highly recommend Woodwright construction as a reliable friendly and professional family business.

We gave an old cottage that needed wooden rather than UPVC replacement double glazing, in keeping with the character of the cottage. Allister was asked to make and install 6 units which would keep the original character. He made several site visits prior to manufacturer and produced sample glazing bars and glass panels to ensure it was as we wanted. He supplied and fitted units that matched our specification, fitted superbly and looked great. All work was tidy and Allister and team were professional throughout. The best compliment to give is that the new windows weren't noticed by neighbours, they matched the old ones so well. Would we use Allister again? Definitely.
